Instead, they say the child fell after climbing the rail while her parents were playing shuffleboard "nearby." Current version of the story (beware bad writing, lol) I don't know which story to believe, but I will say I don't think the new version makes it particularly better. Propping your kid on a potentially deadly drop is fucking stupid, but leaving your child unsupervised near a potential deadly drop while you play games is fucking neglect.
