I only clicked once, and every time I think about it, I break down into tears. I also hate how the person says, "The world is like this." As if the world was responsible for this act of animal torture and murder.

Not everyone in the world is like this...but certain people, and the evil spawn that they refuse to raise into proper human beings, are to blame.

Why not place the blame where it should be? Somebody's CHILDREN did this. The world didn't force the firecracker into the poor pup's mouth and then tie it shut, resulting in his horrid, painful death.

I wish, for once, that people would tell it like it is, rather than pad the truth, and place the blame where it actually belongs.

I think a lot of Moos may not care that their gently-disciplined little fuckstains could grow up to do similar things because of the fucked-up logic that "it's just an animal." Apparently that's good enough reason for way too many people to excuse animal abuse.

I googled it and found a picture (it was extremely hard to look at) with more angles/pictures of said dog and it had a Fuckbook link on it that was for Tuzla, I think it's called, which is a town in Bosnia.
I originally mistaked it for the dog's name and looked it up to try and find a news story.
I can try to find a link but I can't copy/paste on the device I'm using.

ETA: Also, the picture that had the link on it (as part of the image) had not a lick of English on it except the link.
After I looked into the name, I just assumed that the language used was Bosnian.
The link looked like this: www.facebook.com/Tuzlaa (with two a's for some reason).
Sorry I don't have a better explaination or evidence.
This is just what I inferred from what I saw.

Actually the photo was fowarded on FB by my SIL. She is a dog trainer, has 3 dogs (Finnish Lapphunds) of her own and she was horrified by the photo. Later on she just started cursing and telling what horribe things she would do to those brats.

I would really like to slap some moos over their faces with this when they start with "but they will grow up to cure cancer!!!" Unlikely.

I can't look at the photo - I have a really hard time dealing with seeing cases of animal cruelty and abuse. We can be such a cruel and horrible species, and children, who so many people seem to think are "inherently good and innocent" can be the most evil little beings! That poor puppy! And of course a lot of people are cold about things like this..."Oh, it's just an animal." I HATE that mentality. When I was a kid, caring for animals and being properly taught to take care of them and be kind to them was just part of my upbringing. I always had pets growing up and would never even fathom doing anything mean to them "for fun" or at all for that matter, because I LOVE my pets! A kid that mutilates animals for fun is a SOCIOPATH and evil little fucker, a serial killer in the making, and I agree, they need to be institutionalized when they do shit like that, because they not only will continue to do it, they'll eventually move on to doing things to other humans!

And one of my biggest reasons for not wanting to procreate is that the human species is completely squandering its potential to do good and amazing things...intelligence like ours is rare in the universe (at least as far as we know...SETI still hasn't picked up a signal from anyone else at this point in time), and what did we do? We created what we have now, a huge MESS. And some humans are capable of such unspeakable evil to our own and other species. It's completely horrible, and I've grown into something of a misanthrope over the years. We *could* be doing such neat things if this species could get over its tendency to be destructive to itself and other species. /rant

I usually toss this back at these types when a kyyd gets abused or killed: it's just a kid, not like the parents won't go out and make a dozen replacements for it.

They go batshit crazy.

And for the record abusing kids and animals are pet abominations of mine. But I don't give a fuck that kids did this to this poor dog (his death was probably the only peaceful part--he would have to be humanely euthanized as there is no salvaging him) and fully think "kids" capable of this should be treated like rabid animals and put out of our misery. They won't amount to anything but the Next Top Serial Killer, anyways.

I just couldn't bring myself to click on the link, most of my kitties are rescues and animal cruelty gets me that upset and sick to my stomach. That poor dog, I can't even begin to imagine the amount of pain and fear he must have felt right before he died.

I fully agree and it should be the type of hospital that houses the worst of the worst in locked units. A word to lurking moos out there: Animals are living creatures who have the capacity to feel pain and despair just like humans do so don't you dare feed me the bullshit line about "oh but they're just kids, they didn't do anything wrong". Cruelty to any living creature is never acceptable and should be punished appropriately. Studies have shown that kids who torture and kill animals "just for fun", later go on to hurt and kill people so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Wow. Just wow. And to think if a child were drowning, or being attacked, a dog like this would risk its life to protect the child. This dog is just looking down at its paws wondering what happened and why it hurts so much.

We need to institute caning in this country as retribution for acts like this. Cane them bloody and finish with a squirt of lemon juice and salt, and then tell them if they do anything like that again, they will have an entire limb cut off. Their choice which one. Third time, death penalty. And the parents should have to pay the caner and the judge and the police for their time punishing the child, the cost of the cane, and the cost of the lemon juice and salt. If the parents can't pay, jail time for all.

I can't even click on that link because I know I will regret it. Even the description makes me sick. My hubby and I were at the airport once and there was an article in the newspaper with "kitten stomping" in the title. I was crying before my husband could hide the paper from my sight because he knows how much that stuff upsets me. He saw it a second after I did, and he was too late.

Several do actually.

But I think that this sort of thing needs to be taken extremely seriously. These kids do this shit have it expunged from their records when they are 18-21 and then everybody is surprised when this little fucker is sticking fire works in little boys' rectums or in women's vaginas. They need to keep fucked up behavior like this on people's records for life because these mutherfuckers will kill someone.

I looked it up-it occurred in Herzegovina and the dog had to be euthanized. There's some crazy people there. There's a petition for justice for this poor dog.

I clicked, and then read about the kittens, and now I can't stop crying. I can't handle animal abuse, I just can't. It makes me go absolutely ballistic. The things I would like to do to the kids involved...

In the future, I will keep from clicking. I've made this mistake twice this week, two different things on two totally unrelated forums. I'm not always the brightest bulb in the box.

I'm going to go hug my cat now.

I vote to not have these animal cruelty threads ever appear on our site, even with a warning, even if they're kid-related. It's horribly unpleasant, not entertaining and not helping anyone in any way.
