Wowzers! Comments include that this sounds like typical toadler behavior. If that's the way the "typical toadler" behaves, I'm thankful that I had the smarts to opt out of moo-hood. I don't know how anyone can stand that sort of behavior for any length of time without losing their minds.

Also: It sounds like her brat is hopped up on sugar or something. Crazy-ass Crackmonkey. And then they wonder why people get upset when these monsters have public meltdowns....of course we do! Look at how it's acting! Moos shouldn't take their beasts out of the house until they're able to control themselves.

Does anyone else hate the term 'sippy cup' ?

Why can't they just say 'kids' cup' or something? It's infuriating.

My mother and I both froth at the mouth at the word "binky." It's a pacifier, dammit!

The common term "nookie" for pacifier is not only stupid, but potentially hazardous. I warned my brother about this when he said that he "needed to give [baby daughter] her nookie". Since "nookie" is also a slang term for sex, imagine how some busybody could overhear that and call the cops about his being a pedophile and molesting his daughter... Just say pacifier, dammit.

Unfortunately that sort of feral behavior seems to be increasingly normal for toadlers because their dumbass handlers are ridiculously permissive. If I slapped my mother in the face she would have slapped me back, period. Intentionally removing my diaper/undies to pee somewhere other than the toilet? I would have been yelled at and then made to clean it up. Same thing with the drink mix. If this moo is too spineless or stupid to create boundaries and stick to them then this won't be just a phase, it'll be this brat's m.o. until she gets arrested or someone gets sick of her bullshit and knocks her on her ass.

don't really give a damn about the title. probably a stupid moo appelation.

former co worker with a defective little school age turd that still used one of those things. my business has a yearly barbeque at the bosses house. first year, the turd has a temper tantrum because turd wanted some milk. all that was available was half and half. moo was going to water it down and turd had a shit fit.
next year, turd forgot the same damn stupid asshole cup (mind you the little crotch turd was almost 6 by now) and nearly ripped moos clothes yanking on them.
that little bastard would have been over the cliff.

Slapped, pee, wasted food product and MORE pee? That's four ass-beatings if you ask me.

How that scenario would have played out in my house growing up.

19-month old me slaps my mom in the face. Mom slaps me back. There is no peeing or tantrums because I'm locked in my room for the rest of the afternoon.

When dad gets home I get a spanking for being disrespectful to my mom.

19-month old me learns to never hit mom again and to listen to what she says.

Why is that so difficult for today's parents to understand?

I don't want to raise a kid of any age but if I had to pick one age that reinforced my decision even more so, it is toddler. That would be THE age when I'd really have to resist the urge to hurt it. Babies don't know any better, preschool/school age are annoying but can be cute and at least can carry on a conversation about why we can't do such things, teens have a major attitude and think they know it all, but it's the toddler antics I simply cannot stand. So glad I realized I didn't "have to" have one.

Decent parents would never allow such behavior to occur, whether it be a toadler or an older brat. Decent parents would make sure that the brat understood its behavior, and punished it accordingly.
That little brat is going to grow up to be a big brat, and probably end up in trouble with the law. Society won't accept such feral little beasts, even if moomy and duhddy think it's okay or "normal." Society will make sure that she learns, even if it's the hard way.
I almost feel sorry for today's brats, because they will grow up with absolutely NO clue how to behave or conduct themselves in the world.

I understand the importance discipline but can a 19 month old understand such things? Do they get the correlation between slapping moomy and getting slapped back? If you make them clean up the lemonade, do they know why you are making them do this? Furthermore, can they do this without making a bigger mess? I am all for discipline but toadlers are very dumb. I don't know how you would even go about attempting to raise these creatures.

I agree. A baby is not as bad because it cannot follow you around. If it gets to be too much, leave it in the crib to scream its head off and go get yourself together. If it dies from a few hours of not being worshipped, then that's just Darwinization.

But toadlers....they stink, they are always messing with stuff, asking dumb questions and screaming and whining. I would kill myself if I had to put up with a toadler everyday.

You can reason with a kindergartener (a little). Teens aren't too bad if you have done your job until that point. If not, then you deserve what you get. But toadlers? I'd be in jail.

the lemonade powder tantrum sounds annoying as fuck, but if my kid EVER slapped my face it would be the last thing he would ever slap. i can't imagine ever doing that to a grownup.

Jayde:

Exactly what would have happened in my house, except my mother would have done the spanking immediately and I would have spent the rest of the day in my room. Probably would have had either another spanking or toys taken away by my dad.

They learn through repetition. That's why they like to watch the same movie 10,000 times, and ask 'why' repeatedly to the same statement. So it won't learn from cleaning up the lemonade once, but when it has to clean up the lemonade 50 times, it might.

I don't agree with beating the brat into a coma or anything like that....however parents have to begin discipline as early as possible. If a brat is acting up, like slapping its moo in the face, that calls for immediate discipline. I would NEVER allow some chyld to hit me in the face without swift discipline.

If my bird nips me, he gets disciplined immediately. He gets placed in his cage for a "time-out." Sure, he'll sit there and mutter under his breath....but he understands that the nipping has led to him being caged up for ten to fifteen minutes. I may not be his favorite person for a while, but he knows who the boss of the house is.

A toadler must be taught boundaries early on. They are constantly testing boundaries....and as they get older, they will test even more. It's the parent's job to instill boundaries in their kyds, without being abusive. Whatever it may be. Taking away a favorite toy for a few hours. Putting the brat in it's room for an hour. Whatever the parents think is effective without being cruel.

I was abused as a kyd, and it was not a good thing. I don't believe in physical abuse, but a swat on the ass for a slap in the face is a fair exchange IMO. Let the little fucker know that slapping isn't right, or else it'll be slapping people for the rest of it's miserable existence.

My parents regularly beat the living crap out of me when I was a kid (they did other things as well). I'm not advocating beating the kid into a bloody pulp, but I do think that LIGHT spanking can be an effective tool - not punishment - for little kids. It's a way to gain their attention and get your point across.

A toadler doesn't have the cognitive ability to understand why it shouldn't hit other people, however if you slap it back a few times, it will learn its lesson.

As for taking off the diaper, that's just disgusting. What is it with today's retards and their pissing and shitting all over the place?
These moos would shit themselves if they knew, that so-called potty training here slowly starts when the kid is cca 8 months old. If you wait longer, the kid gains a conscious habit of pissing and shitting in nappies and starts resisting.
