Because the dog is merely a canvas for Shytl'eig3h's "art." When will they learn that animals have feelings, too? I can't believe that got a "Best Blog" stamp from Time. Breeders care about NOTHING but themselves - they don't even care about their kids. Not even the mama grizzlies. A lot about them reeks of dishonesty, that is, when they aren't being too open about bodily functions.

a sweet, orange tabby cat in my neighborhood has experienced this too. the color needs months to wash away. now he's very jittery and reacts by biting.

There ought to be limits against breeders owning kids and pets simultaneously. Granted, I have always had pets, even as a tiny thing, but I treat them well. This is because I had PNBs (mostly). They check out people who adopt, don't they? To see how they do when raising one not of their own genes? Oh wait, they don't - otherwise we wouldn't have news stories of people chaining up seven adoptees in their own filth. I'd love to see people get full background checks and exams before adopting pets, children, ANYTHING.

Just another example of how the kid was, "only out of my sight for JUST a minute!". It obviously took more than "just a minute" for this poor dog to get all of this "art" drawn on him. WHERE are the parents when this type of shit is going down like this and all of that nonsense we see posted on sites like "Shit My Kid Ruined?" I guess the parents are in the same places fucking off when their kids are strangling themselves on curtain cords, suffocating in clothes dryers, breaking their necks on bunk beds, tumbling out of upper floor windows, hanging themselves on swing sets, playing with the famblee hand gun, getting backed over in their own drive ways, and being abducted in the housewares department at Sears while shopping for lamps and other accessories.

The site gets worse and worse. I shudder enough when objects like cameras show up in their line, ruined by grubby hands. If my camera ever ended up broken at a toddler's hands, or anyone's, I wouldn't be posting; I'd be incarcerated.

I wonder when they'll have a SMKR post where the animal gets hurt, (I really hope this doesn't happen - but you know how breeders are ) and the submitter posts "Oops! I only looked away for a minute! My aunt sent me an email...it was supposed to be funny about reasons why dogs bite...had pupsters drawn on, hanging by their necks from oversized cones (think very tiny toy dogs) and other hideous, heinous things...that were supposed to be teehee! Funny? NOT.

I sent her an email back telling her that I didn't appreciate images of sadistic animal cruelty being sent to my inbox. She stopped sending me emails altogether. That was way too much for me to deal with.

Yeah, I can understand why a perfectly loveable fuzzball would go Cujo on some little retarded bastard's ass after having to live with that bullshit for so long without the snowflake's parents intervening.
It infuriates me that some people think it's hilarious. It is cruelty to animals, and it is NOT OKAY.

What bothers me the most is that obviously the little cunt was never taught that it's wrong to paint a dog. It bothers me almost as much that the handlers thought it was funny.
