Exactly. He would be pouting and whining about something anyway. And I don't believe he ever really loved this woman in any healthy way. He must have been grateful as hell to get an attractive lady and started to cling. Childish, insecure people will tend to do that and have an entirely different idea of love than an emotionally mature person. We don't hear the wife's side so we don't know her story but I'm sure she is no prize either.
