But that is a little unusual. Chemotherapy/radiation have been know to diminish if not completely eliminate fertility. This is why many men/women bank their eggs or sperm prior to beginning cancer treatment.

Unusual, maybe, but still an obviously-unplanned child that will grow up with a single parent.

I think in the scheme of things, this isn't worthy of news print.
