But I guess this is yet another one of those things that is TOOOOO HAAAARRRD...having to take the time and effort to actually slather the stuff on the sprog. Easier to put that stupid shade/blind-spot cover on the window.

Well, I still don't see either as necessicary. I grew up pre-window screens (and pre-safety seats), and don't recall ever being burnt to a crisp in the back seat of my parent's ford pinto.

Not to mention UV protective windows that come standardly eqipped in every car made... This chick at work has one of those in her car for her wretched sprog and just seeing it made me respect her even less. (she's the one that took 20 pictures of her kid sitting in a pile of sand and expected us all to oooh and aaah over them)
