Just heard about Free Range parenting again on the radio news. Hopefully, the pendulum will swing back again to something more normal. I know this will seems so weird to people who have gotten used to helicopter methods, even if they don't admit it to themselves, but it seems to made things technically worse for kids(later adults) and the parents who raised them. I feel we've been treating kids like veal for the last 10-20 yrs. If they were actually better for it, I'd be for it, but they definitely seem worse.
