Topic A new nadir for CNNPosted by Melanie
I just glanced up and -- once again mischaracterizing Hilary Rosen's remarks about Ann Romney as anti-moo, the blond dolt anchorwoman actually is interviewing a fat, muu-muu-clad, slothful looking mommy blogger about the controversy! I mean, this moo twit was just spouting all the usual tripe about war on SAHMoos etc. and the anchor was nodding along and grinning approvingly while displaying zero inerviewing skills or critical thinking ability. Nor was she making any attempt to be fair or rational in the characterization of Rosen's remark. So after she let silly moo trot out all of the usual platitudes, she asked her what she would like to see from politicians and the moo actually said "i'd like a zombie apolcalypse plan! i think they really need to come up with one. And a video game that would get kids interested in politics...." and some other inane and inappropriate suggestion that exposed her true vapidity and lack of intellect. So the CNN anchor just giggled, thanked her and said "We'd love to have you back on again in the future." Have we really sunk so low as a culture that CNN now feels it is journalistically appropriate to have some random, uneducated Farmville addict commenting on the presidential election campaign? During a supposed news hour? I know CNN is not what it used to be but my god, it now has lost all credibility.
For some reason, the media seems to think it has to pander to the Moo demographic, under some misguided idea that they are a majority of the populace. They'd better check statistics, because a sizeable number of people in this country live alone, and fewer of us are having kids. They might think Moos are making purchasing decisions and that's why their advertisers want to target them; the fact is, Moos have much less disposable income than single CF people. You'd think advertisers would want to reach consumers who have more $$$, wouldn't you? Moos are looking for cheap shit, and, if they're particularly good whiners, free shit. If I had a business, they're the last people I'd be catering to. And I especially would not want them and their dirty snot-nosed shitloaves in my place of business. But see, this is what 21st century "feminism" is about. It's about the cult of the Moo, the Moo who thinks being a Moo is the only valid choice for a woman. A Moo who resents other women who had the guts to go out and live their lives, not give up on themselves and decide that being some nasty brats Moo was "good enough," and spend the rest of their lives trying to convince people that they've accomplished something by squirting a loaf out of their hoo-haa -- something that every female mammal on this planet can do. It ain't no accomplishment, twat. It's the notification to the world that you are no better than a dog, a rabbit, a deer, a hippo -- you can give birth. Big fucking deal.
I went to CNN to try to find this, couldn't, maybe someone else can. Did find this vomit inducing mess in the 'living' section - A lovely tale entitled: Was that guy hot for my baby bump? http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/11/living/cook-pregnancy-attraction/index.html?hpt=li_mid Yes it looks like CNN is really dumbing itself down, for the Breeding Masses ![]() Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
