Oh gawd, it's a dark day when I find myself agreeing with that twit Michael Savage.

You mean people are finally figuring out that awwwtizum doesn't exist and are no longer willing to tolerate these brats throwing tantrums?

Eventually, the small congregation revised its services to Walter's liking. Worship used to start softly and gradually increase in volume. Now, it starts with more noise. If the brat is farting, beating the crap out of the priest, pissing their pants in some strange show n' tell and shrieking in an old lady's good ear, they serve no purpose being at the church. Or anywhere where they are a nuisance. It is not cute. Not everyone wants to partake in some stupid after-school special where you learn tolerance of BS like this. The real world is not cushion-y.

Kids over the age of toadler-hood who soil themselves and scream in public. Kids of any age who hit, bite, act violent. Adults who are mentally children having tantrums? The public is supposed to be tolerant of that? I wonder what happens when an adult with severe autism reaches out and close fist punches a kyd who has some kind of disability? I don't think parerunts with cheeldrun who act out extremely are actually thinking that someone bigger than their brat might physically attack their brat because of the way it is acting. I watched the "What Would You Do?" video in another thread and now this. I have this as a guarantee: If some kyd ever comes and steals food out of my plate in a restaurant, I am going to throw my own fucking fit, and either the payrunts are going to buy my meal, or the restaurant is going to comp it. And if a strange kyd ever comes up and bites or hits me, I'm going to smack it. Hard. I'm even willing to deal with the possible consequences of striking a child. I'll claim self defense.

I knew autistic people who don't act like wild animals. There is no excuse-it is hard work and you need lots of patience but it is imperative that any child knows how to behave.

I really could care less if some autard "needs" public interaction. Their parrunts just HAD to have "one of their own". This comes under my considerable list of "not my problem".

Nobody should have to fear injury or intimidation in a public place simply because some retarded parents can't or won't reign in their autistic brat.

Yep, my nephew has autism, and the worst thing he'll do is start crying in a rather hysterical manner when something upsets him. His mother will not take him certain places, goes to zoos and that sort of thing when they are the least busy....and if he starts having a meltdown, she removes him from the area. She actually is very intelligent about this.
