I have continued to bathe my seventeen year old son because my brother developed testicular cancer and ever since I have worried that my son could be at risk. My son knows how much I am concerned about this so he allows me to examine him in the bathtub every week. He is usually very relaxed about this [ after all, I am his mother!] but on those times when he loses self control I accept this as a natural reaction, and we are able to laugh it off though I admit to feeling a little guilty about my own emotions when this happens. when what happens? wtf is she talking about--his getting mad or getting an erection?

My father stopped bathing me when I was still young enough to have no memory of it.
Even my mother, who insisted that everything had to be done her way, didn't actually bathe me any more since I was four or so. She would put me in the tub, encourage me to wash myself and putter around the bathroom while I was doing it. When I was done, she would rinse my hair and dry me.

Even that stopped when I was in the first or second grade.

Well that just takes controlling behaivior to an abusive level. Teens really should have privacy. But the moos who do this with boys take it to even another level which is much worse. None of the moos doing this can plead innocence no matter how casual they are about it.
