HA! That's a good one. Who knows? Maybe the kid had never been to a museum before and didn't know there were informative signs. Duh should have pointed that out though.

Now, there's nothing wrong with PNBs bringing kids to museums (my parents did, I'm a museum junkie to this day), but make sure it's age appropriate and a level they can understand themselves. I'm fine with quiet kids in a museum, just DON'T READ THE SIGNS ALOUD. Actually, that doubles for adult who do that to themselves aswell.

I was so close to biffing an American tourist who was doing that with a Viking ice skate in a museum in Uppsala.

The dumb little bastard probably has ADHD and can't focus his mind long enough to read the cards, that's why he was asking daddy to read them for him. At his age, he should NOT have been asking anyone, "What's this?"
