Oldest U.S. Mom of Twins Is 65 and 'More Excited' Than Ever
August 31, 2012
When it comes to taking motherhood to an extreme, Frieda Birnbaum is unsurpassed -- literally. In 2007, at age 60, she became the oldest American woman to give birth to twins.

Today, at age 65, the New Jersey woman says she's still going strong, chasing after her two five-year-old boys -- Josh and Jarrett -- and also caring for her 12-year-old son, Ari. Birnbaum had her first child when she was 26, but says she feels more energetic now than she did back then.

"I am definitely more energetic," she told "20/20's" Elizabeth Vargas. "We have to redefine age, 'cause it's changed."

Jeeez. That article, all of Frieda's commentary, her 30 something son's TRUE assessment of the situation, and her obvious multiple cosmetic surgeries ALL point to this is a psychological problem. It isn't fair to these 5 y/o twins either to not even be in elementary school yet and their moo is old enough to draw social security, not that with all her obvious wealth she'd need it. Head-Brick

So wait, her middle child was born when she was about 52 or 53? I guess that wasn't a geezery enough age, so she had to sluice some more bastards at 60. By the time the twin boys graduate high school, Moo will be 78. Hope she's got enough money to pickle herself to live that long. If I were the eldest child, I'd make sure I was real far away - in the event Moo conks out before the youngest kids turn 18, you know the person who will be expected to wrangle those kids is the 30-something one.

I wonder if she'll still feel energized in 5 years. Then it'll be, "Hey here's a little switch. You guys can change MY diapers and feed ME slop now!" I can only imagine how the twins will feel in high school having a mother in her seventies. I know I felt out of place knowing my mother was at least 10-15 years older than the mothers of any of my peers.

"the New Jersey woman says she's still going strong, chasing after her two five-year-old boys"

It's all fun and games until she has a HEART ATTACK.

But who CARES if they don't have a MOO growing up? it's all about what SHE wants!

I love the interviewer's expression in the first half of the clip! Some people will do anything as long as they don't have to admit that they're not young anymore.

So is geezer-breeding the new answer to the "Who will take care of you when you're old" question? Have some younglings at around the time you can draw Social Security and force them to become young caretakers? Maybe they should start taking away these kids at first sign the geezer breeders show that they won't be able to care for themselves and their children for much longer.

"Society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children - but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born."

The plastic surgery was not a success IMO.

I could guess that by looking at her. Nothing like a Geezer trying to look 45 Roll-Eyes

Psychological problem is right. This cow thinks if she keeps squirting out loaves it means she's still young. She is obsessed with her age. She can't grow old gracefully, she has to keep pretending she's still a young woman. She sure as hell LOOKS 65, so it ain't working, Granny.

Ari Birnbaum says that even today, he feels like his parents don't have enough energy for himself and his younger brothers.

"They seem to get very tired easily," he said.

That's just sad. I feel bad for that kid.

And I think one of the commenters hit the nail on the head...the grown son is pissed because he knows he'll end up having to take care of those kids when the geezer breeders can no longer do so.

Both her 30-something son and her 12-year-old said that the parents are unable to keep up, no matter how much they may claim they have a ton of energy (let's not forget her husband is an equal geezer breeder in this). I would think they are in the position to have a more objective view.

lol

Her nose job is OBVIOUS as is her eye job, face lift, and chemical peel. It's unnatural for the center part of her face to be so taut and then her neck and hands look like an old woman. Whenever I get a face lift, I am going to get my neck and hands done to match. NOTHING is a worse give away of cosmetic surgery than the shiny young face and up under it is the turkey neck of an old woman. It looks far better to be old all over than for certain body parts to look "young". Some people get cosmetic surgery in a reasonable amount and simply look better, while others go overboard and just look like really old people who've had cosmetic surgery.
