Topic WalMart promotes entitlementPosted by freedom55
Check out this Walmart commercial........ Bratlina storms in, screaming and demanding all new school supplies because she wrote "I love Kevin" on all her notebooks and she now hates the dude. So it all needs to be replaced. Um, excuse me bitch, YOU are the one defaced your school supplies....YOU replace it! Jeez, what do you wanna bet that Moo bought the brat new stuff? ![]() Linky
If the subject is breederific and has to do with merchandise, Walmart promotes it, but so do most ALL retail chains as well as restaurants. Other than some higher priced retail stores and a few finer dining establishments, there are few that don't and even the better ones aren't immune to it. I think that's because they are marketing to the majority in hopes of the bigger profit, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. ![]() ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- If YOU are the "exception" to what I am saying, then why does my commentary bother you so much? I don't hate your kids, I HATE YOU!
My mom would've said "well, you shouldn't have written Kevin all over your supplies, no I will not buy you new ones." Why is that so hard? ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is a home without children? Quiet. ~Henny Youngman I don't want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance. ~George Balanchine "I took the batteries out of my biological clock and put them in my vibrator"
When I was in Jr. high, I remember girls taking magic marker and writing their boyfriend of the week's name on their sneakers! I also remember thinking how my mother would kick my ass if I ruined my sneakers like that! That commercial is horrible, BTW. That little drama queen should be punished for throwing a fit and demanding new stuff, not rewarded with another trip to the store. Shame on Walmart for perpetuating the idea that bratty kids are somehow funny. And how about the doofus for a dad? Next commercial, little Drama Queen will be demanding her mother go to Walmart for an E.P.T test, and the father will be in the background, scratching his head and asking, "Who's Dylan?"
