SBitch, I admire your self-restraint. I would've beaten that little cunt's ass three times a day. As soon as she started with the shrieking in front of TV, I would've plonked myself in front of it and shrieked all through her shows.

I would have thrown it out the window-"Now none of us are going to watch the TV."

Especially if it were my TV.

Or moved it into a room that I could lock. And there would be a room I could lock. I would put a dead bolt on it.

I think I would have been out of there long before she hit my cat. When moo refused to rein her kid in, I would have left or evicted her.

A lesson to be learned: whenever you become roomies, set up the house rules. And remember-the one with the name on the deed or lease holds all the power.

We were both on the lease and I thought we had set up house rules but moo didn't see any reason to be consistent. I was living in Los Angeles when this happened and I was looking for a new palce LONG before Psychobaby hit Rowan. She was also the very last roommate I ever had.
