The family reportedly moved to Houston from California, because the dad needed to find a job.
But a year later, he was still looking and the family was living in the motel. He told police he was planning to pawn the gun and some power tools to help make ends meet. He hadn't found a job in a YEAR? Then how as he coming up with cash to pay for a hotel room? Even a cheap pay by the week would be $150 a week?

The mother, Adriana Green, was not present at the time of the shooting. She is currently in the Caldwell County Jail for a parole violation. The father did not show up for the hearing and CPS was awarded temporary custody of the child." One possible scenario: the father shot the younger one and framed the autard for it by leaving the motel room to establish an alibi.
