I saw a new Duggar headline today but didn't read the story. It seems like Jim-Bob has reported his oldest son for some kind of sexual wrongdoing. Not sweeping shit like that under the rug may be the only thing they've done right as breeders.

You just KNOW that at least ONE of these kyds is going to be gay.....
and that it will just be a matter of time before they can't stop lying to themselves and have to start living life how they were meant to.

Yup, sounds like he was having a good old time feeling up and fingerblasting his underage sisters in their sleep. I'm actually shocked Moochelle and Jim Boob didn't just sweep this all under the rug to maintain their innocent, famblee-friendly facade. Apparently Jim Bob waited a whole year before going to the authorities about this, and what happened was a relative of the Duggar family wrote down what the victims said (probably because Jim Bob and Michelle either didn't believe them or didn't care), the letter was tucked away in a book, and it was only when that book was loaned to someone else that the letter was discovered. I'm sure the person went right to the media with it because not only would it possibly help those girls, but hey, that's some juicy shit!

I also seriously doubt the girls genuinely forgave Josh for what he did. Jim Bob probably forced them to do it because it would look better in the news to see that, in spite of sexual abuse, everyone's making nicey-nice. That, and being a Duggar girl means you're sole purpose in life is to grow up and be a broodmare for Gawd... without being troublesome and complaining about silly things like incestuous sex crimes committed against you.

Maybe the allegations are true, maybe not. I really don't know.

What I do know is that reality television breeds a "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!" complex in people. Throw in the fact that these people were living in a house with 20+ others, and the lack of attention and supervision they were getting while growing up isn't really disputable.

Whether he molested his siblings or not, this famblee is fucked up either way.

I think the only reason this hit the news is because other people found out about it. Had it just been kept within the family, the media would be none the wiser. And it's tough to tell from the way the report words it, but what other female minors would he have access to besides his sisters? Do we know which sisters it was? I think that when you repress or suppress sexuality it manifests itself via dark, inappropriate avenues. All the perverts turn out to be religious nuts who think sex is dirty. Healthy attitudes about human sexuality should be taught early, before kids are in the throes of puberty. That includes how to satisfy urges appropriately and what NOT to do under any circumstances. Guaranteed Josh Duggar did not get this information and was simply told that sex was a dirty sin.

According to some of the forums, in the police reports all the girls were under 13 with the youngest being four. I can't click on the police reports but they do have all of them online.
