A little advice for the breeder who wrote that drivel. No matter how many kids you pop out, you'll still be forgotten. Unless you're a talented actor, artist, musician etc, your memory will not live on. Your kids will die, your grandkids will die, and so on. I don't know much about the 'Art World' - but - this is 'Art'? Uh, no, I don't think it is. AFAIK 'Art' means things like paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Oh and also writing, music, drama and poetry, dance and things like that.

I don't demand respect from my family. What I did ask for was appropriate parental support (emotional, financial) from two people who CHOSE to have me.

And the part of the meme that reads kids return the favor by taking care of their old parents--well, anyone who's ever spent time in a nursing home can disagree with that statement.

This looks like something created by someone with forced-birther parents who is all of 13, just parroting the Party Line. Black/white: procreation good, having a choice not to = bad.

And having children is always the moral choice? < insert laughter here > Yeah, it's so moral to pass on genetic diseases or to have children when there are already 7 billion people in the world. Doesn't surprise me. A vast majority of the shit on DeviantArt is garbage because there's no quality control, meaning that teenyboppers with zero artistic skill can post their crummy scribbles for all the world to see. You can usually gauge the quality of a member's work by how many "deviations" they've submitted in the time they've been a member. If they've uploaded 590 images in six months, that means they suck. I've been on there for about ten years and I don't even think I have 100 images yet, especially since I recently got rid of a couple that I didn't much care for anymore. Don't get me wrong, there is some really spiffy stuff on there too, but you have to wade through a thousand m-preg MS Paint drawings and horrible fan characters before you find anything good.

I don't understand this person's submissions. On one hand, they seem to be quite fluent in CF lingo (crotch droppings, crotch critters, etc.), as evidenced by the related terms they use in the description. Some of what they've "created" appears to be pro-childfree and some of it looks like it's anti-childfree. I originally wanted to agree that it was some bitter Moo whose grown kids won't give her grandshits, but most adults over the age of 40 don't fancy DA because it's full of horrible fanfiction and Sonic the Hedgehog porn. So I have to assume it's some over-opinionated teenager who wants to play both sides of the procreation field, supporting and bashing childfreedom at the same time because CFness sounds edgy and hip, but also not wanting to be shunned by sheeple and tossing out pro-family bingos. Or are they attempting to be satirical? I can't tell. This person sounds confused/conflicted and stupid.

And of course comments have been disabled. They don't want anyone telling them they're wrong, lest they get hurty fee-fees. I really wish DA didn't have the option to disable comments (well, maybe in the paid membership) - if you're going to post your steaming piles of shit publicly, then you should have a thick enough skin to take criticism along with any possible praise.
