For CF ladies - marriage advice needed

Thanks for the advice.

I had an appointment with a divorce lawyer who informed me
about everything. He was the one who recommended the counselor
to me.

DH hired this lawyer.
Currently, the lawyer works on a legal separation.
i know what I am supposed to get. I won't waive anything.

I am in no rush. I am 100% sure that DH wants to start a fambly
so he is the one who is under time pressure.
He better give me what I am entitled to otherwise he will be
married the next 4-5 years.

Well, being married but separated might not be a deal-breaker for breeding. And then he'll be in the position to argue for giving you less because he has to support a bayyybee (and we both know how pro-natalist Germany is). Hope it ends quickly and fairly.

It sounds like you found a really good counselor! Good for that.

I hope you wind up getting what you need for yourself and your job, etc in the divorce.

yurble makes a good point about the potential backlash from dragging your feet. Your husband's disrespectful attitude may very well show that he's already "replacing" you in his head. He may move on quickly and find someone to have kids with, divorce or no divorce.

I really do need my own place. I plan to get something
as soon as possible (after the financial settlement will be through)
- something like a combo - deposit + mortgage.

I live like a single person and as discussed on this board,
single life is expensive.
I give more than 40% of my salary for rent and that's too much.

So sorry you're going through this, but I'm glad that your life is more peaceful now and you're happier.
