That forum has its issues with trolls, so threads as hysterical as this one *might* not be true. Still, it's quite entertaining

If you don't want to read the responses, just what the OP writes, go to this link and plug the URL for the thread

People don't know what the word "family" means anymore... family members used to help out with child rearing. They literally do NOTHING all day but sit around and watch TV. I even provide food to make it brainless. Guess my standards are too high for common ppl to understand
.....

They say that they have Dr apps on the days we need care. 5 days in a week to pick from so it's a cop-out excuse
....

Families are supposed to HELP each other in times of need. Thinking that you can do it all on your own is a naive American belief

I just read the entire clusterfuck. I agree with the majority of posters, that the in-laws do NOT have the responsibility of looking after her kid, even temporarily. She reeks of entitlement. She had mentioned that they have doctor appointments on a regular basis, maybe they're too tired and sick to look after a feral toadler? Maybe they just don't like her. Maybe she approached them in a way that sounded pushy and demanding. In any case, she deserves what she got.

ETA: I also forgot to mention she thinks they're terrible people, yet she wants them to rook them into babysitting twice a week, eight hours per day for a month or two. If they're THAT awful, why on Earth would she want to leave her precious loaf with them? What a dumb cunt.

They became terrible people when they didn't do what she wanted. My SIL has a similar attitude toward my parents.

I love how breeders always spout off about what families are supposed to do, what The Village™ is supposed to do, but what do they ever do in return? Nothing. They've shat a semi-sentient potato and therefore the world should drop everything to help them out, but never be expected to return the favor. I bet the cow never took the initiative to offer payment for babysitting services; she just figures that "family" should be happy to babysit for free.

But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born."

You got that right. She expected FREE loafsitting services.

I'm thinking that the son (and any other brats she decides to push out) are going to suffer the misery of a mother who expects them to be her retirement plan, looking after her when she gets old. She really seems to obsess on the theme that faaamily should be obliged to look after one another, not matter how onerous it might be for them.

"the village" only applies when it comes to helping breeders with babysitting, money, food, etc. - the rest of the time we are supposed to just keep our mouths shut, not criticize their shitty parenting skills or discipline their howler monkeys when they are running wild.

It makes me want to not ever let them see him. If they want to be selfish then I can too. Not like he's missing out on anything anyway but we need help at this very moment and they prefer a lazy life.

Can't send him to daycare because it's too expensive for 4 days. We've only ever needed 2 days a week until now. You think it's entitled to ask your parents to help out in a time of need? I'm not the type to suffer in silence if I know of someone who can help.

Full time care here is $200/week and there isn't enough money in our budget to pay that.

I am about to open up as a home daycare provider. I will watch 6 kids including my own once I'm open. We just need help right now for 1 month with childcare until I open.

I bet most of you are first-time mom's who don't understand how much you will need others to help you. Not every day, but when it's needed, you'll wish you had helpful parents

They are pretty terrible people actually. But if you think that "Dr apts" are a reason to decline when you have 5 days to pick from then that just indicates your intelligence

1. If they're having that many doctors appointments, they obviously are dealing with major health issues and aren't up to providing caretaking for toddlers.

2. You can't always choose when you see your doctor, especially if it's for a specialist. You take whatever appointment time is available.

3,. If you can't afford childcare, you can't afford a child.

Assuming this is a true story, there are plenty of reasons why these people don't want to loaf-sit. Moo says they have no commitments because they're retired; dontcha love that assumption that retired = you have nothing to do? How's she know they have no commitments? Maybe the in-laws hate Moo because she's a cunt, or while Moo says the kid is a precious little angel, he could be a complete piece of shit in reality. Maybe the in-laws don't have a brat-proofed house or they just don't feel like dealing with grandkids right now, or maybe this month happened to be really busy for them and they just don't have the time or energy to watch any kids. In any case, the grandshit is not their responsibility and they are under no obligation to watch the fucker. If the in-laws want to sit around watching TV all day, guess what? They're retired, they can do whatever the fuck they want.

I have a feeling that Moo wasn't very polite in asking for free loaf care either. She probably demanded it and that's probably why she got shot down. And if the mother-in-law or father-in-law ever needed help with anything, do you think for one second Moo would repay them for brat-sitting and help them with their own issues? Fuck no! She's a bizzy mawwwwwm and she doesn't have time to deal with old people shit... but oh, they should be just thrilled to watch her crotch maggot.

And I'm sure Moo will play keep away with the kid, as if that's going to make the grandparents change their minds about watching him. it also makes me laugh when Moos are so intent on foisting their brats on people who obviously don't want to deal with them. Why would you want to entrust your child's care to people who have zero interest in watching said child?

I didn't copy that particular post but entitle-moo says
that in-laws couldn't stand her and they didn't want
her to date their son.
She and in-laws have a history tongue sticking out smiley

Because you don't want to do X, I'm going to punish you by not letting you do X!

Yeah, okay. Like when a breeder says it's good I don't have kids because I'd be a horrible mother. I should be upset by that statement, when I've just been saying how good it is I don't have kids because I don't want to be a mother?

What is this, a childish attempt at reverse psychology?

Wait a second. She's in the process of opening/using her home as a daycare shortly for six kids/clients? And yet she can't manage her ONE child nor afford a daycare for a month? No wonder the other family members are steering clear if this moo. In essence she plans to use other children in a get rich quick scheme/industry and beans the cost? She will probably try to get those same family members as kiddy minders while she runs to the bank.

There is no reason why she is unable to either put the charges on a credit card or take out a very short term loan. Can she not do the basic math? As a last resort, even a payday loan for 30 days (not sure what the interest is) if it would allow her to supposedly make $800 a month times how many kids besides her own she'd be watching would be well worth it. Making either $3200 or $4000 monthly would be motivation enough, right?

If she played her cards right with a credit card, she'd either pay 1 month or zero in interest. Something is amiss, me thinks she has foisted other lame ass excuses to famblee to get them to watch her kids in the past and that they have had enough.

Or if loans are out of the question then if she is that cost sensitive maybe she should get a job working for someone in order to save up the $800, perhaps then she'd actually find some motivation. If I were shopping for daycare and she shared her pity party story with me I'd keep looking, thinking she doesn't understand an investment and may not feed any daycare kids properly.

That's because the favour they give in return is the semi-sentient potato! Us residents of The Village are supposed to drop everything in gratitude to them for shitting out one of The Next Generation Of Taxpayers or a Future Cancer Curer or for Keeping The Human Race Going. They don't have babies for themselves, they do it for us and we need to appreciate them for it and repay them with favours and free gifts and actual money.

Who cares how the sprog actually turns out? The rules are just different for breeders- unlike the rest of us they get their medal at the start of the race.

Hahahaha! You were night! This is indeed a popcorn-worthy thread. The entitlement is strong with this one.

She just can't move on, and nobody is giving her the pity party she so desperately wants! I love it! Thanks!

Moos like that remind me of a couple of posts that are now enshrined in the Epic Thread Sticky

After the Birth, what a family needs

What shift do you want?

I'm sure they'd fall under the category of narcissist, but I'm still boggled at women who think this way. They seem like such a bizarre subspecies that they could feel so expectant of help from other people and not analyze how awful they sound.
