^^^^ Indeed. The thing that terrifies me worse is the idea that 'The love you have for your pet is NOTHING compared to what you'd have for a child." My cat means the world to me, and the idea that she'd mean less scares me worse then anything. Especially after seeing all of the neglect or willingness to abandon animals that I've read or seen by parents after baby comes along, I'd never live with myself if I became one of those people.
