Another 'Kyds are disgusting' moment (gross alert)

We just had our 90 day follow- up walk through on our new house. So we got to talking with the guy (we'll call him Bill) about different things while the inspection was going on. We were walking down our steps and he kind of checked to see that our railing was not wiggling and then Bill said something about "if you had kyds it would be loose by now" and we laughed.
That reminded him of a story about a house he did a one year walk through on a few months back. These people lived in a new 700K+ home. One of their complaints was that there was some kind of lumpy texture to the paint on the wall at the top of the steps. So Bill went to look at it and (okay, here's where it gets gross) he knew right away what had been going on. The 'lumps' ..some were greenish and some were brownish (like dried blood) It was BUGERS! Seemed that their kyds (ages 8 and 12 btw) would sit at the top of the steps, pick buggers and smear them on the wall in that one spot. (and they admitted to it) They wanted the builder to sand it down and repaint it!!! Bill said it was his responsibility andthen suggested that it be disinfected, sanded and painted on their own 'dime'.

On a side note... the same house had about 3 spots on the stairs (in a 2 story formal foyer) that had dog poop on them. He asked about it and their answer was "Oh we let the cleaning lady clean up after the dogs"
Bill asked "is she coming today"
"Oh no.." they responded, "she comes next week"
They would leave every mess made by the dogs till the cleaning lady would get there... whether it be the next day of the next week.
Apparently "cleaning lady" didn't get to that 'bugger mural' at the top of the steps either.

Ewwwwwwwww! Some people. A beautiful home and they treat it like that... and let their kyds treat it like that when they are clearly old enough to KNOW that you do NOT smear buggers on the WALL!
