As much as you are tired of being with him all the time, your only other choice is residential treatment. These types of children are very sneaky. We found out that this child was terrifying our other kids so that they were afraid to tell us. If we hadn't busted him for something other than the perping (he choked our dog to death), he would not have been removed from our home and we would never have been told by our young kids what he had been doing to them. We also suspect he was perping on a mute epileptic at school and we do know he killed many neighborhood animals and set fires so he was pretty far gone.

Being a retard doesn't excuse someone from looking at kiddy porn. If he's smart enough to work an iPod and find places to download illegal porn from, then he's smart enough to know that looking at that sort of stuff is something he shouldn't be doing (otherwise, why would he have stolen an iPod so he could get around his parents limiting his internet access?). I don't care that "he's just a chiiiiiild" and "he has awtissssssssummmm" - he knows he's doing illegal shit and yes, he should be prosecuted. Just because the perp is Just a Child^TM doesn't mean he or she can't hurt other children.

Such a drug would help in general with overpopulation too. It would also make it possible for a man to be a Catholic priest and not have to watch kiddie porn in the rectory (we had that happen at a parish around here).

Moo is delusional. It "doesn't appear" that he has harmed a child? Is she with him 24/7? If he's sneaky enough to steal an IPad and download illegal porn, it's quite likely he's preying on other children that he has access to.

Given that one can't just find child porn by doing a Google search, but have to figure out access to the dark web, this can't be chalked up to the innocent antics of a child. It's somebody who knows what he is doing. There is no benefit of the doubt or second chances.

The authorities themselves generate most of the kiddie porn available online. If radio host Glenn Beck is to be believed, a few years ago he claimed a member of the feds told him of markers embedded in much of it to allow tracing which computers have viewed the stuff. He said he was then shown a map of home computers near his residence in Texas that had done so. The map was peppered with dots. (Add to that allegations that the feds implant child porn on individuals' computers without their knowledge for future use in concocting charges... Conspiracy-monger Glenn didn't ask about that, interestingly enough, and I have a hard time believing that so many people near him view kiddie porn with all the warnings out there not to do so.)

Then you have to assume that groups such as NAMBLA that have operated openly, including having public web sites, are today actually law enforcement sting operations.

We often fall into the trap of thinking that autards are all shit-smearing hand-flappers who cannot do much of anything else. Often that is true. But some of them are actually idiot savants. If their one area of uber-competence is computers, they could be able to find child porn and get around any blocks to their access.

This all means real trouble for the family if Tardley's access to computers and smartphones isn't completely taken away, and taken away now. Child porn means real trouble, and the family is probably on the radar of law enforcement already. Autism won't be considered a valid excuse. Based on these stories about people on the autism spectrum being held accountable, maybe the legal system is cracking down on excuses for bad behavior at last.

Chemical castration is a thing. I believe Lupron can be used to lower testosterone, but if the person is to take it voluntarily, then they need to actually acknowledge that they have a problem. Most sex offenders don't believe they're doing anything wrong, so there might be no way to get any of them to take an anaphrodisiac without forcing it on them. And good luck trying to get non-offenders to take it unless it can be snuck into the water supply.

They want to cherry-pick just how equally awtards are treated via mainstreaming. Tard mommies want their little circus freaks to be accepted, included and not "discriminated" against (even if that means depriving normal students of an education because the teacher has to deal with a flap-tard all day long), but they do not want their little derplings to suffer the same consequences as normal kids would. They want the best of both worlds: be sure Junior gets included in all the best parts of normal life while making sure he never has to experience the bad parts like being held accountable for his actions.

Equality comes with upsides and downsides.
