I guess pro-liars enjoy spreading the lie that those who are pro-choice "like abortion" as if they get preggers in order for the pleasurable experiece of vacumming it out, as if it was some porn like thing, all to make women who want control their own bodies seem as weird and ebil as they can. Yes. A good majority of them freak out at various forms of birth control, referring to them as abortions. Think it is IUD, morning after pill and there may be a few more thrown in. It doesn't matter that a baby would be better off not being born into bad circumstances. All that matters is the baby is born!

It doesn't matter that a baby would be better off not being born into bad circumstances. All that matters is the baby is born!

As I'm fond of pointing out, there are fates way, way worse than merely not existing. Why some people don't grok that fact is beyond me.

I don't think anyone is "pro abortion" because abortions aren't exactly anybody's idea of an enjoyable experience. They suck (no pun intended), but they are necessary. Pro-lifers love spreading their bullshit far and wide to try and demonize abortion as much as possible with such methods as flaunting photos of very late-term terminations and claiming they're first-trimester abortions to try and make women think they're "killing" nearly fully-formed infants. In that same vein, claiming that fetuses can think, feel and do everything a fully-sentient and fully-born child can do and will "know" when their mommies "murder" them because they apparently develop with an inherent knowledge of what abortion is. Or like freya said, claiming that many types of contraception cause abortion to make women feel bad for even trying to have responsible sex lives because they feel fucking should be exclusively procreational.

Pro-lifers know that they can prey on vulnerable women with their lies. Some women are educated and will not be swayed by fetus-humping propaganda, but women who want to keep their pregnancies and have to abort for one reason or another (can't afford a baby, single parenthood, abusive partner, etc.) are very full of doubt and grief to begin with because terminating a potentially wanted fetus is a hugely emotional experience. Pro-liars can have a horrible influence on these women in their state of uncertainty, convincing them that they are cold-blooded murderers if they choose to abort, regardless of what circumstances that child would be born into. Because dog forbid a woman not want to be a fucking broodmare - gotta keep the wimmins in their place, lest they start getting ideas about being independent and not needing men and the best way to do that is with kids.

Oh, but who gives a fuck about the kids who get "saved" from the vacuum? Certainly not pro-lifers - their "jobs" end the moment the fetus is born. They don't care if the woman can't afford to raise the child or isn't competent enough to raise it. Pro-liars will do anything to coerce women into giving birth and then turn around and tell them they should have kept their legs shut if they can't handle raising the child. Some of them even want abortion outlawed in cases of rape and incest because they feel that any baby is just wonderful (because it ties the woman down), even if it was put into a woman against her will by her brother or uncle.

I think we should make asylums for pro-liars to keep them away from everyone else. Just load up the protesters outside Planned Parenthood clinics and ship them off to their own little playpens where they can stroke one another for the rest of their lives and leave the rest of us the fuck alone.

If "being excessively concerned about how other people live their lives when it doesn't affect you in any way" isn't listed as a mental illness, it should be.
