If I had a kid, I would NEVER let a stranger breastfeed it. Who knows what she could be transmitting to it.

That's the difference; we have standards, breeders don't. And any parent dumb enough not to work out how much formula they'll need to get through the flight time, would also not hesitate for someone else to take it off their hands without considering the consequences
Ha ha, yeah. PMYABP and super unselfish (unlike the CF) and yet they still can't figure out how much formula they're going to need for the MIJITW?

According to a couple of internet searches on Ironman:
Ironman training consists of lots of 2 hour training sessions numerous times during a week, then advances to couple of 5 hour trainings and finally a few 8 hour days at the end. Does it really make sense for a moo with a new loaf to be doing this? If her husband did this it would be considered incredibly selfish.

It isn't as if she can be in a race like this without lots of practice, so she knew exactly what she was in for and how to accommodate the loaf because otherwise the loaf would have died prior to the race. There is no telling how many trial runs she made before the actual race. Just more proof that this was for attention, just like beefing near any publicized event these days.

Also, she is in the Air Force so she has to have had some semblance of planning forced into her brain. All she had to do was have formula on hand but there isn't any drama or article or moo-worshipping that follows a formula feed.

Since she had a low breast milk supply the loaf was likely already on at least partial formula. Guess that is what happens when a moo tries to be an elite athlete. Since she is a normal person it just looks like this training is a way to avoid being a parent.
