Breeder actually making sense

Breeder actually making sense

A few days ago, Dave Ramsey show was on the radio. A lady called in, telling him that she blew her emergency fund on reproductive assistance treatments. I was shocked to hear when he told her: “Reproductive assistance is not an emergency in any way”.

In most cases, Dave sides with breeders. To hear him not agree with one is really unusual although what he said made perfect sense. People drain their bank accounts just so they could get a pregnancy to stick. Do people not understand that when kid arrives, the real spending is going to begin?

I remember listening to a financial radio show like this where a guy called in and went on about how things are awful with their $$$ situation. He had a "great paying job" two kids and a moo at home looking after them. Suddenly his job was gone after they decided to birth #3 who was an accident. #3 had huge medical problems and drained whatever they had left and he was freaking out. A vasectomy after the second kid would've helped, but noooo they had to be pro-life about it. Moo had to go back to work partime and probably the tax payers picked up the tab for messed up #3.

This family is fucked up, but soon in America abortions and birth control will be illegal and this will be the norm.

I will never, ever feel bad for someone who goes for broke trying to make a child. Breeding is a 100% voluntary and also completely unnecessary choice in a HUGELY overpopulated world. Nobody has ever died from not having kids, they are not a requirement. It sucks if you want them and can't have them, but you don't need them.

And of course these assholes never want to adopt, foster, or just otherwise be a good influence in the life of a child that isn't related to them biologically like being an "auntie" to a friend's child or a big brother/sister or working in education or in programs for troubled children. NOPE, has to be homemade or it won't do!

Fuck them, I'm glad when they go fucking broke, especially when they blow through their savings and still can't get pregnant. Making a brat should cost precisely zero dollars, so if you burned through 75 grand just on conception, you gon' be fucked once the kid comes out because you'll have all the kid-related expenses without the means to afford them.

Cambion, you are spot on. I do at times wonder, how rich would one get if they were to buy a fertility clinic. Return on the investment has got to be insane.

It's also when the begging begins. They have this precious miracle child, and woe, they can't feed/diaper/buy wipes for it! And the behavior will be 100% rewarded. GoFundMes and showers and free babysitting...all they have to do is make the thing. Everyone around them will be responsible for it.

And for a procedure that has something like a 20% success rate, so people are likely to keep coming back until they're completely broke. However, I'd rather run a casino; it's slightly more ethical, in that it may have the same effect on finances, but doesn't contribute (albeit modestly, given the success rate) to overpopulation.
