So I finally got a referral to gynecology regarding having a hysterectomy. I'm waiting for a callback about an appointment. I know you've all probably been asked this question before, but does anyone having any advice or words of wisdom they can offer?
To clarify, I'm not looking at sterilisation, I'm looking at having the lot taken out, partly because my periods - before they were stopped by depo injection - were heavy, hellish and physically debilitating. Also, I'm British, so if any UK members have had success in these matters, I'd appreciate your input.
I'm 32, if that makes any difference.
