Failed PNA in Anchorage: Five year old with no shoes carries toadler in -31F temperatures

A woman abandoned a five year old and a one year old in a remote house. The five year old became concerned when the power went out so he carried the other kid to a neighbor's house.

Gotta give the kid kudos--he sounds smarter than the average five year old. He risked their lives but it sounds like they were in a bad situation and could have died anyway.

No word on how long the kids were in the house and the relationship between the woman and these kids....maybe they don't want to identify her as the Moo because you know why.

That sounds like a kid who has been thrust into adult roles before. The typical 5-year-old with a normal childhood wouldn't have known what to do.

Anyone who puts a child outside in winter weather with no shoes needs the kids taken away and the moo or duh or caregiver needs to spend a nice long time in prison. There is absolutely NO excuse for something like that!!
