The son functioned at the level of a 13 to 17 month old child and was non-verbal. I would think functioning at this level would require quite a bit of supervision to keep alive. I'd guess the "just looked away for a second" defense would be a much less obvious way to have achieved the same result.

Given how regularly they kept the tard's arms restrained (to prevent him from harming himself, apparently), I'm surprised it took this long for them to think to let him loose near the pool in restraints and allow natural consequences to ensue. You can't tell me this wasn't intentional. Tards have a profound love for water and they'd find a way to drown in a snowglobe if left to their own devices long enough. It's often a perfect PNA method to just let a tard be near standing water for a little while and they'll do the rest. Sounds like they probably kept him around for access to his Ritalin - they continued filling the tard's prescriptions well after his death.

But honestly, why did they never try to put the violent fucker in a group home? Duh was a professor and Moo is an RN, surely they could have afforded something for the kid? Maybe peer pressure? If everyone in the community insists the kid is a gift from G-d, they may have faced intense backlash for "sending him away" . Remember that blogger who adopted the disabled kid from overseas and the kid turned out to be severely troubled? The Reddit moo brigade was actually posting statements like "he'd have been fine if they just hugged him more."

Group homes are very scarce for tards. If you want to put your tard in one, you can expect to be put on a years or decades long waiting list. This pair of BNP should have put this tard on a list a decade ago.
