Moos and TMI

I was reading a book called Wisdom Rising about a woman who used to be a Buddhist nun, the words "used to be" should have been a red flag as people go through all that it takes to get accepted as a Buddhist nun/monk only to leave to marry and breed. She runs some "retreat" out in CO and during the intro to the book she gave a very graphic description of birthing one of her kids in a cabin and went on about how fierce women are for being the one's to birth baybees.

I can't imagine someone starting out a book giving a play by play account about the best time they had sex with their spouse and considered it East.Indian tantra without the public going nuts screaming about TMI, but if a moo gives an account of birth to the point that the reader may as well have been in the room with her then it is all ok. No TMI involved

Feminism nowadays has seemingly went long past equality and has entered some mythos of wimmin as fierce birthing types and that seems to be where their main "empowerment" is focused.

I had no idea women could be Buddhist nuns, I thought it was strictly something for men. There's my new thing I learned for the day!

But yeah, I always loved how any kind of graphic imagery - visual or verbal - involving pregnancy and childbirth is perfectly fine and may even be considered educational, but if someone goes into explicit detail about having sex (procreational or otherwise), then it's disgusting porn. Maybe it's because most people enjoy sex, but not giving birth, so it's acceptable if it's an explicit description of something that isn't pleasurable? But then if that was the case, news coverage of fatal accidents would read like autopsy reports, describing every tiny chunk of brain meat that wound up smeared on the freeway as opposed to "the victim died at the scene" and no further details.

I'm no prude by any stretch, but I really want to know why something going into a vagina is graphic, but something coming out of one is beautiful.

Women aren't fierce for reproducing - masochistic, insane, retarded, desperate, insecure or any of the above. But certainly not fierce. Crapping out your child alone in a cabin is also not fierce - it's fucking stupid. So many things can go wrong during childbirth for the woman and the loaf and doing it without a qualified medical professional around is asking for trouble. Ohh but what do I know? I'm not a mawwwwwwwm. bemused eye roll

Also, the definition of "fierce" is "menacingly wild, savage or hostile; violent in force or intensity; furiously eager or intense; extremely bad or severe." So I'm thinking Moo here also doesn't know what that word even means because it's not really a word with positive connotations, though I will agree that most piggos are hostile, furious and extremely bad.

I remember a scene on "Breaking Bad" where Walt was upset because he missed the birth of his daughter (I think something Jesse did?). But why does a man want to see the birth of their kids anyways? How can screaming, bleeding, spitting, swearing, pissing, shitting, and other body fluids being flung all over the room possibly be entertaining? I don't want to see a colonoscopy, that's why I'm glad they put me out for that. If I were a father I would want the 60s Mad Men approach, pacing around the solarium and then the nurse brings the baby out to him.

I agree with you as most men cannot handle the messy business of birth, although there are some rare men who want to hold the wife's hand during birth and support her because births can be traumatic. The latter can especially be so for a woman denied any abortive care.

Pregnancy and birth do not seem empowering to me.

First there is the delicate piggo and all the dietary restrictions. No booze for you, no soft cheese—don’t want to make the fetus sick. Have a headache or a cold? Go ahead and suffer because you don’t want to push out a birth defect. And then there is the very real limitation of hauling around a melon in your abdomen. Can’t run fast, can’t lift stuff. Can’t sleep comfortably or sleep on your stomach.

And there’s the birth. How many women through history were too pregnant to run or were killed when their village was invaded? Or worse yet, they were giving birth and could not flee? You are very vulnerable when pregnant and modern moos in the first world should be glad they aren’t refugees.

And just because we live in modern times, it doesn’t mean women aren’t still dying in childbirth or from birth complications. There is nothing empowering about losing your life to a fetus. Or getting ripped from stem to stern for an ungrateful brat.

there are excellent books out there on the short changing of women. it isn't just seeking sterilization, it is health care over all and the condescending pats on the head we get.
Doing Harm, Ask me about my uterus. Still going through them. Ask me, a lot of it is the hell that woman went through with a fucking goddam mental mommy cunt. I know I step on folks toes. The ones with problems (myself included) that realize it, try to handle it, won't have kids because of it, they have my respect. It's the ones that are too friggin nutters and the arrogance that seems to go along with it that piss me off. How many stop the meds because "I don't neeed them anymore..." type of arrogance. Then they kill someone. They know to lie. They know to run. They know how to play the system, I'm just a poor widdle mentally ill person. Puuuuleeeze. oh well, I digress. Again. Just having suffered at the hands of a moo cow that became unhinged, and was unhinged the entire time...

CERTIFIED HOSEHEAD!!!

people (especially women) do not give ONE DAMN about what they inflict on children and I defy anyone to prove me wrong

Dysfunctional relationships almost always have a child. The more dysfunctional, the more children.

The selfish wants of adults outweigh the needs of the child.

Some mistakes cannot be fixed, but some mistakes can be 'fixed'.

People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one. Leo J. Burke

Adoption agencies have strict criteria (usually). Breeders, whose combined IQ's would barely hit triple digits, have none.

Yup, and I think the US has the highest maternal mortality rate of any developed country. To be fair, I suspect some of those deaths might be because so many Moos are huge fat fucks and I imagine obesity puts unnecessary strain on the body during pregnancy and childbirth because it puts strain on the body in general. Others I suspect are because of Moos breeding later in life and also having tons of pre-existing health problems that make pignasty and sluicing riskier/dangerous. And I know unless there are known complications before labor begins, almost no one discusses what should happen if it comes down to a matter of saving the woman or saving the loaf because they can't save both. They all figure it won't happen to meeeeeeee because I'm special! Then it happens and the father or family has precisely 10 seconds to pick a life to save.

No child is worth the trouble it takes to bring them into the world. You get fat and puke your guts out and have swollen feet and incontinence before either pushing eight pounds of flesh out of a dick-sized hole or having your pelvis cut open while conscious... and for what? A selfish creature that screams constantly, doesn't let you sleep for YEARS, refuses every food known to man and cries out of hunger, tells you no at every turn while throwing tantrums when it gets told no, and tells you it hates you the second it can string sentences together? Yeah I'm not seeing where in that sequence it's all worth it.
