That's always great how parental love can just be switched on and off conveniently when those same parents are either in some kind of trouble or the disowned child comes into money or does something remarkable. Yeah no, if your parents' affections come with strings attached, they aren't worth having in your life.
This person's parents had a problem with her stripping for work, but her filthy sex money is okay now that they have declared bankruptcy? Sounds about like Catholic logic. Then I'm sure if she helped them out, they'd go right back to treating her like crap for not following their Christian ideals like a good little sheep, while also constantly asking for more money because stripper money is okay if it's to help them get out of dire financial straits. Isn't that nice how that works out so well for the parents? Where they can cherry-pick their beliefs in order to take their child's money and then go back to being hateful?
Besides, I thought that Gawd will provide. Isn't that what those Bible thumpers always say? That their imaginary sky daddy will provide? Why don't they stick their hands out and ask Gawd for money if they need it so bad?
The author is not an asshole for not supporting her parents financially after they threw her out like trash for not adhering to their beliefs. Mommy and Daddy can figure out their own shit.
