Grandparents taking control of dead son's sperm in war

I guess when young men die in war, grandparunts want the opportunity to milk the fellow, freeze the sperm, and then when a suitable woman is found who is willing to have the kid, she does, probably for pay and then the obsessors get to be grandparunts.

If you wanted to dig up your dead relative's remains to harvest any other part of them, people would rightfully be all up in arms about how inappropriate and disrespectful it is. But if it's to suck some sperm out of a dead guy to use for babby-making, that's somehow acceptable? This practice is a fucked-up alloy of grave robbing and necrophilia.

Based on what I'm seeing, sperm should be collected from a corpse within 24 hours of death, but that viable sperm has been harvested from corpses as long as 48 hours after confirmed brain death. So if parents want to harvest their dead sons' sperm, they would have to have it done quickly. Imagine dead motherfuckers being given priority on the battlefield over injured living soldiers because their parents want their sperm harvested immediately after death to use for grandbabby-making.

Is this going to open the doorway to harvesting eggs from dead women too? After all, a young dead chick won't be using her eggs anymore and they could be fertilized and implanted in a middle-aged baby-rabid lunatic instead!

How the fuck do you explain this to any children born of these sperm? It's not exactly the same as using sperm from a living donor (or from a donor who was alive at the time of VOLUNTARY donation). How would you feel if you learned you were conceived using sperm taken from a corpse without their permission?

Someone's "right" to be a grandparent should not be allowed to involve desecration of a corpse, which is exactly what this shit would be. It's not like exhuming a body to try to solve a crime because a family may want answers/closure and to see the perpetrator punished for their actions. Nobody needs to have a baby, so digging up a body to get at a dead man's sperm is a ridiculous waste of effort and resources, especially if the guy has been dead longer than two days, in which case the sperm is almost certainly non-viable.

These people need to get some fucking hobbies. I'm sorry they lost their sons, but this is not an appropriate way to grieve.

This would make a great horror movie...all the necro sperm from warzones plus the necro eggs from dead women...the owners of the necro thefts turn into zombies and demand return of their body fluids or else!

As usual it reflects the ego of the parunts, not the wishes of the recently deceased.
