This mahm insisted on wearing her dotter's clothing and destroyed a bunch of it. She went absolutely nuts and kicked out both her kids because they wouldn't humor her delusions. Then she went further nuts that neither were back on her doorstep begging her to live there again. This mahm ends of dying alone in a hotel room on a bunch of drugs and they think she went nuts from an untreated STD. There's lots to unpack so it is worth a read if you're interested.

It sounds like once her kids were grown she couldn't bear to finally find freedom and not be young, pretty and thin. Maybe it was some overdue self-reflection?
