Great, more required safety features all of us can pay for when car shopping because of breeders who want to roast their children to death. I'm sure there are ways to disable or damage the alert devices so parents could say they were never warned and then sue the vehicle manufacturer for "faulty" parts.

Wasn't there that guy who came to this website several years ago and it turned out he was looking for ways to off his kid via hot car (and had then done so and made national news)? It was picked up by Dr. Drew et al. and instead of chastizing the guy who killed his kid, he went off on CF people for "giving him ideas"? I can't be making that up right?

I bring that up because OBVIOUSLY there are people out there who are doing this on purpose. It doesn't matter how many alarm bells you put on a car; there will still be people who try this and know they can get away with it. The fact that so many ARE getting away with it sends a message to breeders that this is in fact true.

Oh no I remember that too. I think r/childfree was temporarily shut down to prevent people from swarming the site and bitching at the members after Dr. Drew got hold of the fact that the killer visited CF sites before offing his kid. The murderous breeder Duh was Justin Ross Harris. Looks like the murder charges against him were overturned very recently and he will not be retried. So does this mean the fucker is going to walk free??

Yeah, I get not having the proof for a murder charge, but to just let these people walk is atrocious (especially the guy who cruised CF spaces and googled "dogs in hot cars" stuff...how tf did that conviction get overturned...).

Some lawyer(s) made a technical mistake.
