Birth as an achievement
September 22, 2024
I am friends with this person on facebook and IRL and she posted a pic of Musk saying "I made Twitter" Zuckerburg saying "I made Facebook" and Steve Jobs "I made Apple"
Then a aged pic of a woman holding a baby and it said "I made Jimmy Hendrix" My first thought is that his mother could've ended up with any kid, even one that ended up in prison.

This person is totally accepting of CF people and is pro-choice, but like many women seems to see gestating and giving birth as a mystical thing for women.
Some people even say that hatred of women by men is because they are secretly jealous they can't give birth. My dh laughs at that one.

How cringe. I can't stand the whole "I made life" thing that some women go on about. It takes a female and a male to make a baby. It's nature, nothing special and there is nothing "magical" about a fetus growing inside of a uterus. The bar for some people is so low.

i'd go back and find a pic and say 'i made jeffrey dahmer' or whatever evil bastard they can find.

CERTIFIED HOSEHEAD!!!

No one is more arrogant towards women, more aggressive or scornful, than the man who is anxious (insecure..my word) about his virility. Simone de Beauvoir

people (especially women) do not give ONE DAMN about what they inflict on children and I defy anyone to prove me wrong

Dysfunctional relationships almost always have a child. The more dysfunctional, the more children. The selfish wants of adults outweigh the needs of the child.

Some mistakes cannot be fixed, but some mistakes can be 'fixed'.

People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one. Leo J. Burke

Adoption agencies have strict criteria (usually). Breeders, whose combined IQ's would barely hit triple digits, have none.

If your only claim to fame is breeding, you obviously don't have much going for you. Plus no parent is going to be proud of themselves if they produce a criminal. Do you think Jeffrey Dahmer's mother went around bragging about who her son was? And how sad to be remembered as nothing more than a broodmare. Who cares what else you did with your life, all that mattered is that you reproduced.

This is right up there with those brain-dead heifers who post shit on Fakebook along the lines of, "I made a person/I make milk. What's YOUR superpower?" LOL shut up, doing what literally ANY living creature on the planet can do is not a superpower.

It is interesting. They always want to claim the kid who grows up to be talented, famous, successful, makes an impact, etc. The other 99.9% who are nobodies? No one cares to claim them!

When I see shit like this floating around, it just makes me think of how rodents must be super-duper powerful then because they can sluice several more babies than a human and at a much quicker rate.

It's so pathetic too that they want their kid's accomplishments to be theirs. I suppose they're incapable of doing something good themselves, so they think their kid will do it for them.
