DH said we need to prepare for that now. There is also the conservative "fill the gas tank fantasy" for $15 that they voted the dump in for. Breeders will be hardest hit and I expect the red states to be headed for 3rd world status

the tariffs haven't exactly slid by their notice. It's just that, as usual, they believe that the fees will be imposed on the foreign manufacturers with no (obvious) passing on of costs to THEM!! Just like the mass deportations are OK with the deluded sector of the Latino population who don't believe THEY or their friends or family will ever get swept up and put in cages and deported to horrible conditions.

I think that Starlink was fucking with the voting computers aka Muskrat and Trump didn't get nearly the votes every one thinks.

I think some of the most popular searches on Google on November 6th were: What is a tariff? and: Can I change my vote?

The question I have is why didn't these buffoons actually check out the meaning of tariff before they voted? I actually believe a lot of people voted based on hatred and ignorance, and just used Drumpf's pretend, shitty economic plan as an excuse to vote for him without actually sounding like a bigoted loser.

We have a federal election next year and one of the candidates is a trump lover. It sickens and disheartens me but the only hope I have is that Canada sees what's happened down in the states by then and uses what brain cells we have to stop it from happening here.

such a large percentage of the population is CLUELESS and/or lazy-minded! On the Friday and Saturday before the election, people on my local site were asking "where is the early voting?" Umm, by Friday evening there IS no early voting! You have suddenly woke up and thought "hmm, what IS this voting stuff? Sounds like fun--lets amble on over there!" Plus, I just KNOW they will use the fact of early voting being over as an excuse and thought "oh, I have to work Tuesday---is it Tuesday?" Plus, I have heard there will be lines, so---maybe next time! I was thinking of telling them where the usual polling places would be on Tuesday, etc. But then I thought---F@#K it! You have gotta assume that these people are morons and would just vote "the other way" anyway!
