You know the type of women, who constantly whine how they have it so hard because they're infertile, spend $1000s of dollars on fertility treatments/ivf and act as being infertile is a Fate Worse Than Death?
Well what if after many rounds of trying for a loaf the universe/god/nature spirits/whatever finally decided to grant their wish by giving them a child... that turns out to be a Tard, a tard that likely won't ever live independently.
How would the infertile myrtle feel ? Would they regret their wish (Be careful what you wish for indeed)?

This is probably more common than is spoken about. A lot of loaves created via IVF have physical and probably severe mental defects. Usually it's heart valve defects or something like that, but I'm guessing the number of kids whose brains are still a bit soft boiled when they're born is pretty high.
I guess it isn't talked about too much because they wouldn't want it getting out there.

I think it's an established fact that IVF loaves are more prone to defects and problems compared to children who were naturally conceived.
I suppose it could cause a lot of reactions as far as the Moos who couldn't take the hint from nature. Fake joy as a coping mechanism and pretending like their kid is some extraordinary creature, and saying they "wouldn't have it any other way." Bitterness and resentment because they went through all that work and they "deserved" a normal child, but got a tard instead. I wouldn't be surprised if some ran out and did more IVF again immediately to try for a normal child and they'd just tolerate the tard's existence.
It is not that hard to get pregnant considering how often it happens by accident, so if you can't do it, there's probably a really good reason why. The correct response is to acknowledge this and either adopt, hire a surrogate or be childless. Not pump your dumb ass full of hormones to try to make an unwilling fetus stick around for a few months.

Anyway, it seems to me that there MAY not be a Humble Bragging Martyr Moos group for the parents of actual Tards, but everyone seems really PROUD to have a child "on the spectrum". And to have, say, FOUR kids "on the spectrum"---wow! I assume that quite a bunch of those diagnoses were made by Dr Google.

I think some parents want their kids to be autistic because the kids are absolutely rotten little bastards and the parents want to have a scapegoat for their behavior instead of having to admit it's their shitty parenting causing all the problems. It's a harder pill to swallow when your kid is an asshole because you suck at your job, but when you can pin their behavior on an incurable mental illness, it gives them an excuse. Not only for the behavior, but they can just throw their hands up and go, "Welp he's got autism, can't do nothin' with him!"
That way, they don't have to bother trying to fix their brat's bad behavior, so they can simply expect relatives, strangers and teachers to just shut up and deal with it.

I saw this with a few women who tried for brats for years when past 35 and finally got one. Typically around 40 years old.
Cue the saccharine overenthusiasm from others in commenting - it was obvious something was wrong and the photos were very telling.
Some people are in a huge state of denial.
I think there are some people who are just ridiculously stubborn and can't accept that the odds are greatly out of their favor.

Let's not forget the Krazy Kiddie Cheques that they get. In alot of places the government gives free money to parents of Autards now.
No wonder these Munchausen moos practically chase doctors to push an autism diagnosis on their spawn.
Though this is a recent thing. Oh how times have changed because when I was growing up there was a huge stigma over having an autard. Parents were ashamed to admit to have an autard or even an ADHD kid. If the kid was on the higher end of the spectrum (able to talk and sort of function like a human) the parents would simply refuse to get a diagnosis for them

When I was adopted I came with a kiddie crazy check, but this was in 1970 long before they were in vogue. My pre-adoption history was just nasty and I wasn't meeting milestones. I'd be diagnosed as mildly autistic in 1974 at age 4 or 5.

It'll be interesting to see in the future if the USA descends further into fascist hell and more and more Americans try to get out. Having autism or ADHD will get visas denied, even refugee visas. So not only will they lose the disability checks but then they can't even qualify for visas to live in another country.
