Interesting take on the "If you can't feed them, don't breed them" in a world where red states are becoming third world places

If you can't feed them, don't have them. I'll never understand the mentality of women who willingly choose to be a single mother to multiple brats, then complain that the system doesn't support those brats in the lifestyle that the moo wants. Social services exists to offer a helping hand to somebody who unexpectedly falls on hard times, i.e. a young widow looking for a job, an orphaned child. Welfare isn't a lifestyle choice.

Where are the fathers of all these kids? These deadbeat dads should be forced to pay child support for every kid they make. So many men only want to pump and dump, hookup culture is their fantasy, so they should be made to pay for all these unwanted children. They breed them, too, so they can feed them.

Here's an idea! Maybe if abortion is banned in your state and birth control is becoming harder to afford, don't have sex! Sex makes unwanted babies, so why not just stop fucking other people? Some self control from both sides would solve a host of unwanted problems.

And for anybody about to roast me over this, I come from a fundy Catholic family, and I lived sexless for more than 10 years as an adult because I didn't want the problems that came with hiding birth control and trying to obtain an abortion, so guess what? No sex and no boyfriends

There are ways to enjoy sexual activity without a penis going into a vagina too. Oral and anal are options, as is outercourse and mutual masturbation. Toys can be enjoyed solo or together. If you're bisexual or bicurious, have some fun with someone of the same gender.

But a lot of women are too stupid to use protection, and then they're shocked when they find out they're pregnant.

To discourage serial breeding on the dole, a simple solution is to not give breeders more money for any children they crap out after receiving assistance. If Moo has three kids and decides to have a fourth one while on welfare, well she's gonna have to figure out how to stretch a three-child welfare check to feed that fourth brat.

We (the U.S., can't speak for elsewhere) also need to do a much better job of teaching kids HOW to use various birth control methods, and we need to start YOUNG. And we need to better teach about pregnancy, birth, and child rearing, including exactly how expensive it all can be and all the horrific things that can go wrong. But you know there's a huge swath of breeders in this country who would never allow any of that because if more people are informed, fewer babies will be born.

There's also the religious nuts who think teaching sex ed will make kids more likely to have sex, when all the studies show the opposite is true. Better to go into STIs and baby making in total ignorance, amirite?

Oh absolutely. Studies have been done that prove that areas with poor, religion-based or non-existent sex education have higher teen pregnancy rates than areas that actually teach kids how babies are made. People are dumb and refuse to accept the fact that teens are going to have sex no matter what, so instead of educating them so they can make a responsible choice, they just stick their fingers in their ears and go, "la la la, MY BABY would NEVER have sex!"

Teach kids about sex. What it is, why people do it, temporary and permanent forms of protection, the risk of STDs (and show them pictures), and especially teach young girls what happens to their bodies when they get pregnant, from conception up to labor. Leave no stone unturned - tell them ALL the gory details. Not just weight gain and vomiting, but shit like how their hair and teeth might fall out, how they might barf so long and so hard that they can't keep water down, and how their feet will go up 1-2 sizes, among about five thousand other things. Also labor, and how the loaf either gets pushed out or cut out, and how the pain relief is laughable.

And I think abstinence has its place in sex education too, just not the way Christians teach it. You don't need to have sex to get off. There are ways to deal with your urges without mashing your genitals into someone else's genitals. Does abstinence mean nothing sexual whatsoever, or just no penis-in-vagina sex? I have no idea.

If it discourages them from wanting kids, GOOD. We have too many people on the planet as it is. Let them be discouraged until adulthood when they can make a more informed decision with a more developed brain.

Because teenagers believe in the dumbest shit when it comes to sex. Girls can't get pregnant their first time. They can't get pregnant if they have sex standing up. They can't get pregnant if they douche with Mountain Dew afterwards. They think pulling out works. And unless someone educates them, they will continue believing this shit. There is nothing wrong with teaching a young person how their body works.

And refusing to educate them is how you wind up with grown-ass ADULTS who think the pull-out "method" is viable birth control....

someone did a study and the amount of money a moo has (if she is single for whatever reason) the child does have a better chance of growing up half way decent.

more and more jobs are disappearing.. and it is a markeplace law that the more abundant a resource is, it's value decreases. so it is not surprising that workers can be a dime a dozen. I got into a discussion with my Indian (India) co worker once about 20 years ago or so when that child work scandal arose in india. don't recall if it was nike or another but they were chained to machines or something like that. co worker blamed nike. I told him the blame is also with the parents who believe in breeding out the wazoo, can't afford them, and then sell them. he is open minded enough he didn't argue.

but if they quit paying breeders, the birth rate would drop even more. I do not like that abortion might go up. or increase in back street etc.. but birth control is the better route. (that does fail. someone said have sex often enough and it will fail). which makes permanent sterilization a better option. (again the opposition). but I'm too old now to really bother that much. the die is cast and I hope we survive.
