So basically some breeders let their little brat run wild in a hotpot restaurant harassing other customers and the restaurant staff. Whenever people would try to call out the brat, the breeders would excuse it by saying he's just a kid. The brat continued harassing people.
The Goldenpenis brat eventually ended up harassing the wrong people. Two men (who later turned out to be fugitives) demanded the breeders to control the brat, they of course refused. The brat spat on the men's food and threw their cellphone sin the hotpot. This sent the men in a rage and they shoved the brats head into the hotpot and stabbed the breeders to death.

That's what happens when Mommy and Daddy refuse to discipline their bratty little mistakes. Someone else will discipline for them, and it won't usually be in a gentle manner either. And in this case, it sounds like the breeders also learned a hard lesson about lazy parenting. I remember learning about the "little emperors" phenomenon in like 2006 in my cultural psych class. Apparently it's still very much a thing.
It should be a lesson to all parents all over the world. Your child is not a flawless angel, and not everyone will be patient with their shitty behavior while you sit there and do nothing. Sometimes, like in this case, a brat will piss off the wrong person. You have no way of knowing who is dangerous, crazy or having a really bad day and is about to snap.
Can't say I feel sorry for any of them. The brat and the breeders were given multiple opportunities to behave or fix the situation and they chose not to.

The hotpot restaurant was in China. Male Brats like the one in the story are nickednamed "Little Emperors" in China because their parents treat them like one and act as if they can do no wrong.

Incidents like this will become much more common in the future, especially in China where male children are revered and coddled to high heaven by their parents. They are treated as if they can do no wrong. GoldenPenis indeed.
Looks like we are finally seeing happens when these "little emperors" hit the real world. And the results aren't pretty. And it's just going to get worse.

I have zero sympathy for anyone involved. You can't just let your semen demons do whatever they want. You as a breeder might put up with their shit, but they are going to run into someone who isn't...either now or when they are adults. Breeders are doing their kids no favors by letting them disrupt other people.

Basic rule of restaurants and bars the parents forgot. No matter how crazy you are, there is always one MFer crazier than you in there. The little emperor found out far to early. Dumbass parents found out to late.
