Mom of 7-year-old hospitalized with brain swelling from measles: ‘I still wouldn’t have given my son the vaccine’

I'd love for somebody to ask him if he regrets leaving it all in god's hands to avoid "not being the same anymore," but he'll have to survive his parents' stupidity first.

Clearly, Gawd has chosen him to have stupid parents.

Imagine knowing your parents could have you get a quick jab to prevent a horrible disease and they just decide not to do it because fuck you. It's "better" for you to suffer through the illness itself and deal with potentially life-changing, permanent side effects instead of preventing it entirely. Does she think that encephalitis will have no consequences? From what the CDC says, measles encephalitis can lead to intellectual disability and hearing loss. So if the kid winds up a tard, will Moo blame Gawd for it? Funny how these Bible humping anti-vaxers never stop to think that maybe Gawd gave scientists the ability to create vaccines so they could protect people.

Not to mention the fact that measles is a hard reset of your immune system. So any immunity this kid may have had to anything is now gone.

So the implication I'm getting is they vaccinated their other kids, but not the last one? If that's the case, why did two of the other presumably vaxed kids get sick?

Apparently the family lives in an area that had a spike in measles cases, so I'm guessing a failure in herd immunity. But their cases (the two older kids) were mild and they got over it quickly. The parents expected the youngest to "bounce back" fast the way his siblings did. Surprise, he didn't.

I will never understand why shit like this isn't considered child abuse.
