"I just can’t see a woman doing this. If her child died or something, yes. Over a man? Hell no. Especially a young woman."

Found that quote on reddit/2X

from https://old.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/comments/1rdffy5/married_gop_congressman_tony_gonzales_sent/
It comcerns a young woman who literally set herself on fire over the end of a relationship/marriage.

My first thought is why would anyone do that over the loss of ANYONE, child inculded

I made one post in this subreddit and was shadow banned for being a member of another subreddit that is feminist. There are lots of flavors of feminist. I'm guessing this particular group isn't my definition of feminist! And clearly this group gatekeeps.

Quote from the conversation "It's obviously not murder. It's yet another woman targeted by an entitled male who treated her like shit."

Yet they're against women who choose not to have brats so they aren't forever tied to an entitled miscreant that treats her like shit. Make it make sense!

Their brand of "feminism" reminds me of the people who complain that childfree spaces are anti-woman, and therefore anti-feminist. No, presuming that a child WILL ALWAYS be with a female caretaker is anti-woman and anti-feminist, ffs.
