Parents being super raging sensitive

https://old.reddit.com/r/childfree/comments/1sbzl6s/my_friend_is_mad_at_me_because_of_a_comment_i/

A "cf" autistic woman is friends with a guy who had an accidentally kid, just accidentally offended him. The brat was an accident and he took it to a b-day party for it's first b-day. The op said that the kid doesn't know if it is happy or not due to it's age and the guy acted like she said the kid would grew up to be a future tard.

She had to apolgize and wondered if she went to far. A lot of the commenters on r/cf took his side and told her to stick with "classic comments" that will steer the topic away from kids.

I had a feeling he really regrets the brat and is going overboard with love for it to force himself to love it as he does not, but knows he can't undo it all.
The op said she is "cf" as she does not want to pass down autism, maybe more like cl as in she would have kids if only autism was not an issue.

You know what? I have noticed that breeders are very touchy and sensitive. Even if you say something less than flattering about your own breeders, other breeders will jump in to defend them. They will always stick together like a cult. They are always projecting.

It is the only task or job in the world that no one is allowed to have an opinion on, unless it is all sunshine and rainbow opinions, and no benign jokes!

I saw that post on reddit. I was surprised so many people were against her, even if they have a tiny point. But she really didnt say anything against
'his child' as he put it. And, I did find it a funny thing to say "He had a good time" like he went out for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Her friendship with him will slowly fade anyway, no matter how nice she is about his offspring. Hate to tell her, it just doesnt matter.

A friend of mine who has kids said that for the first X months (I don't remember the exact number she gave) babies are just potatoes that cry and shit.

More parents need to be realistic about that.
