I bet a LOT of angry mommies will be bitching about how they're gonna "match his energy" when their husbands didn't plan anything special for Mother's Day, and then get mad when the husbands don't notice they didn't plan a big Father's Day bash.
Plenty of "bawww weaponized incompetence" accusations. Lady, if the man child or the actual child don't acknowledge you the other 364 days of the year, why would they acknowledge you on Mother's Day? Their spouses and offspring prove every single year they don't give a fuck about Moo and Moo is shocked/upset/disappointed every single year. How's about you just anticipate the lack of fucks given and go do something for yourself? Quit making your happiness hinge on others! Or maybe if Moos did something worth celebrating, they'd get celebrated? A lot of them do the bare minimum, but act like they're heroes. Why the fuck would you celebrate some half-assed parenting when you know they stick a tablet in their kids' faces most of the time?
Some of the Moos on there get gifts, but then stomp and whine if they don't like it, like getting a gift certificate to a non-preferred nail salon. But oh, they sometimes won't even tell the Duhs if they want anything special - it's a guessing game. It also helps when you marry someone you're actually compatible with. I suspect a lot of breeder women spawn with lazy shitbags and stay with them "for the kids" when said men treat Moo more like a roommate than a spouse.
Not trying to stick up for the Duhs entirely because most of them are completely incompetent shit stains and there are Moos who straight-up tell the morons exactly what they want for Mooing Day and the Duhs still manage to fail. But some just expect the guy to magically read their minds and then bitch if it's not perfect. The assholery is not limited to the males.
