Seven year old awtard drowns in pool

This was on the local news. A seven year old awtard managed to take off to a few houses down from home and saw a pool with "filtration issues" in the neighbors yard and decided "that looks attractive let's swim" and jumped in. The pool has a false bottom also. The owners checked the pool, but had no idea due to the fact that the body was at the bottom in unclear water. They happened to go outside again and he floated up and they called 911. The homeowners had a metal high fence around it and the door going in was closed. They investigated and the owners had to show that they are "working on the filtration issue"

One could tell people are trying to lay blame on the owners if they can and they are probably worrying about getting sued regardless. The kid, I believe, was E. Indian and there is a ton of racist comments over this online

I know we've said it before here, but awtards are fatally attracted to water, for some reason. So despite this kid having a (presumably) known nonverbal mental illness AND a history of running off, his parents neglected him long enough for him to leave the house, wander two whole yards away, scale a giant fence and jump into a neglected pool.

I hope the neighbors don't face any consequences because WTF else are you supposed to do to keep stupid brats out of your pool? They put a fence around it! It sucks the body wasn't found until later due to the pool being dirty, but they weren't expecting a dumbass child to trespass into their fenced-off pool and drown either.

Well, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that the parents intentionally "looked away for a second" knowing their kid might run off and get hurt. A real easy way to rid yourself of a defecto-brat is to let them get hurt/die on someone else's property and then maybe sue the neighbors for "emotional distress" for good measure.
