Breeder special on NBC

Breeder special on NBC
July 26, 2010
I didn't have anything else to watch on Sunday night so I let the TV rest on Dateline. They had this special ('Friends and Neighbors', I think) about unemployment in Ohio and impoverished families.

There were a few families, especially a father of two who was laid off from 10 jobs over the past few years. I had sympathy and respect for him.

Then they showed this 21-year old supposedly former A+ student go got knocked up as a junior in high school. She has broken teeth and 3 of the filthiest children I have ever seen. She sprogs at 18, 19, and then 20. Not one of the different boyfriends she had the kids with stayed. She didn't finish school, of course.

When the reporter asked her whether they had taught birth control at school, she just shrugged 'yes'. But then adds, 'accidents happen'. THREE fucking times in a ROW angry

She complains that her 3 years of welfare benefits are up and she has nothing but food stamps. Her youngest, a 1-year old, is so disgustingly filthy, he has shit on his underwear double puke

I just don't get it. I understand that millions of people are down and out through no fault of their own. In many places, this is a full-blown depression and not a recession.

But I can't feel sorry for this shit-for-brain teen breeder hag. What the fuck was she thinking?

I guess there is a such thing as being too poor to clean?

This region is a small rural village with no jobs and the citizens who live there know it. It has been this way since before LBJ was president FFS - actually it has ALWAYS been that way. There has NEVER been jobs there. And then the people who live there make stupid mistakes like dropping out of school early and getting knocked up. Then, the food banks just bring in food and people just become dependent on it - once they hear the free kitchen is open, they come in droves and the food banks don't bother to weed out the ones who don't need it. These people aren't contributing anything to the society they live in, they aren't inventing anything, becoming entreprenurial or enterprising, trying to improve their economy, etc. They just sit there with their hands out, expecting "The Promised Land" to give and give and give and take care of them. They work a few hours a day, maybe, then watch TV with the rest of their time if they are lucky enough to be stealing power from the neighbor.

Some of these people are working couples who still can't "make ends meet." What are they doing with their money?? The couple who lives in the trailer makes near $1400 a month. They don't pay for electricity or rent, obviously, and she travels a whopping 20 miles a day. Where is all their money going??? Heroin?

Obviously illiteracy is a problem here; I doubt many of these bumpkins can write up a decent resume. But they can afford cigarettes! And plenty of them are fat - and don't need extra food. 60% of families in poverty are...SINGLE MOOS. Why are these bitches breeding???

Ohio is largely rural. There used to be mining and manufacturing there, but 150 years ago, the bumpkin farmers bred like cockroaches, and these poor people are just their great great great grand offspring. Too dumb to farm. Natural selection has separated out the lazy and dumb from the intelligent ones so now you're seeing the population stratify. Not surprising.

I wonder if the economic policies of Ohio are preventing businesses from wanting to go there. You know, tax the shit out of the rich, tax the shit out of businesses, so none of them want to go there and the ones that are there don't want to stay.

Poverty is nothing new, and the reasons for it are also nothing new. The necessity of this piece is not apparent.

Accidents my ass. Her's were more liked planned accidents, via oopses. No shittin' wonder the sperm donors left her skanky ass. She deserved it. Low class/life tramp, scum of all earth. The hell with that skank. If she can't afford to properly care for her children, they need to be taken away, and she needs to be forcibly sterilized. What trash.

The hard workers, her lost their jobs, (not the trashy tramp above, taxpayer mooch) truly have my sympathy.

That twat knew exactly what she was doing, i.e. getting on the welfare dole so she didn't have to work!

Why are these people allowed to keep their kids?? Doesn't CPS confiscate kids of homeless parents?

From http://www.examiner.com/x-23537-Columbus-Government-Examiner~y2010m7d22-Ohio-setting-for-Dateline-NBCs-focus-on-poverty-friends-and-neighbors-during-this-Great-Recession

"What sets this reporting apart from the narrative about how the American Middle Class is shrinking, by being under attack from job outsourcing and having to compete in a global market place where the jobs the people in this show sought to keep house and home together - mining and manufacturing and transportation - are being supplanted by knowledge-based jobs, is that it focuses on America's poor, who don't have the luxury of learning and training for knowledge jobs when the work of the day is to keep shelter over head and food on the table."

In other words, the country bumpkins didn't bother to learn how to use a computer, mostly because they were too busy fucking and breeding, and now are too dumb to compete in the job market. So the solution is to just hand these useless people money. Sure, right.

That is a very good question. Nothing good can come out of them staying with her. I just don't get how she doesn't lose them with no shelter.
