Breeder special on NBC

DH and I saw that special too. I had to keep pausing so we could rant. Supposedly these folks are so poor that 75% of their weekly food comes from a food pantry.

But yet, did you notice the first breeder had a freshly fake French-tipped manicure?

Did you also notice the one who was living in a house with multiple family members also had money for cigarettes. She was smoking as she was describing how the adults had to go hungry frequently because there was not enough food to go around.

Did you also see the bakery lady with her male "domestic partner" living in the crappy trailer? She had nice gold earrings and he was wearing a very nice thick gold chain on his neck.

To me, things must not be bad enough if you can still afford manicures, cigs and jewelry.

Did you also catch how long some of the folks had been unemployed? It's one thing to lose your job because of the recent economy problems, but quite another to state you haven't been able to find a job for 10-years.

These people bitch and bitch about how there are no jobs where they live. THEY KNOW IT. Yet they stay. They have no sympathy from me, when most of them obviously have working vehicles, and the library has a computer. It is not hard or expensive to move to where the jobs are. Living in rural areas is for people who are retired or already have money and don't need to work - because there are no jobs!!

One thing I noticed is the total lack of involvement of these people in their own community. There are no private gardens; no community garden; no people starting businesses or running their own forms of charity towards others. They just sit there and cry like a bunch of babies.

C'Mon law, you know the jobs will come back once the asbestos factory re-opens.

Law, actually these welfare bastards can get around very well. If their entitlement income drops too low, they pick up and move to the more generous states. I do not think it co-incidence that the most generous welfare states are the one in the biggest fiscal messes.

CERTIFIED HOSEHEAD!!!

people (especially women) do not give ONE DAMN about what they inflict on children
and I defy anyone to prove me wrong:

The selfish wants of adults outweigh the needs of the child.

If I want to hear the pitter-patter of little feet I'll put shoes on my pets.

Mankind and its needs (wants) are like unto a black hole. It devours all available resources and it never is full: it merely grows larger and demands more.

Parents suffer from Stockholm syndrome.

Definition of 'wealthy': Anyone who makes more/has more than you do.

Thomas Jefferson: "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent they conquered."

'Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not.'

I feel the same way towards the poor in Africa. Although those bastards are actually starving, and don't even have a car.

There is so much these people could be doing to help themselves, whether it is fishing, farming, hunting, or gathering - SE Ohio has TONS of wilderness land chock full of plants and animals that are edible. They think their squirrels are starving but the squirrels aren't starving. Even a squirrel can figure out how to find food.

I went to college with a girl who was originally from Ohio: she got knocked up when she was 16, dropped out of high school. finished high school through home schooling, got a job, wound up marrying a guy at her workplace who was 10 years older than her. She started college around the age 24 (pre-med student) and originally wanted to become a doctor but I don't know that's gonna work out for her. Last I heard she got divorced and is stuck with a crotchdump. So she is essentially a working class single mother who had dreams but screwed them up by sprogging way too soon with a guy she was never married to. Oh, she lives in Dublin, OH which doesn't sound like the most ambitious place in the world.

So true.

I wouldn't trust anything the Heritage foundation says... that's the source of most of the vomit that comes from Rush Limpballs "information", and it's where the blind billions that listen to Beck/Hannity relieve themselves of the strain of thinking for themselves.

Poverty is caused by a lack of skills, caused by a lack of education, caused by a lack of funding.

White trash, however, will always be white trash, popping out babies consistently from the teen years until age 40.
