I do too! What struck me about the NBC fearmongering piece (this could be YOU! So give to the poor you selfish rich asshole!) is that none of the people in the special were starving. No one was underweight from missing a meal. No one's teeth were dropping out from malnourishment; on the contrary, MOST of them were fat or at least festively plump, and one kid even has diabetes. If anything, these people have too MUCH food.
No one was dying in this town from poverty. I saw some designer clothes. Compared to some of the people living in rural India, these people live like kings.
