She created page long diatribes which due to their stupidity, incoherent content, and VULGARITY, have since been hidden from public view, but are still part of a permanent document complete with the original IP Address of:

IP/Host: 64-83-206-246.dhcp.stcd.mn.charter.com with an email address of shanabena665@yahoo.com.

THIS email that she registered on here with along with the IP address took us easily to the TROLL'S identity which is SHANA STANGEL, age 28, nursing student, single mother of two, originating from St. Cloud Minnesota and a hometown of Bena. MN. She must have a lot of extra time on her hands between school, her kids, and her alleged employment to root around on the internet and create these filthy mouthed and lengthy posts. Sickening. As one who is sitting here at my home computer on a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon, WORKING to finance my lifestyle and pay state and federal income taxes -- these losers are not only NOT paying taxes or contributing to society, but they're spinning the slot machines at our expense?

The first time that I learned that the EBT welfare card that was SUPPOSED to be for food could be used for anything, was from a woman I knew who lived in Oregon who was a co-member of a support site. Once she complained that she had to make 4 trips to Walmart for small purchases to "get back" enough cash to pay a bill. In every area where I have lived they weren't allowed to do that. Apparently, in some states they can use an EBT food card and get a limited amount of cash back from each purchase with a daily limit in that woman's case of $200 and her card was "worth" $1200(a month). So, they can basically spend what is allocated by welfare for food on any damned thing that they please. THIS is very wrong and should be illegal.angry flipping off

Another thing that SHOULD NOT be allowed is the purchase of prepared food WITH WELFARE CARDS. In my area, (Kentucky, USA)I have recently become aware that they can now use their welfare debit card to buy prepared food out of the grocery deli. SOME restaurants accept welfare cards too like these Omaha Steak type of food delivery businesses as well as our local Dominoes Pizza and others. If someone is on on the draw and/or getting food stamps, THEY SHOULD BE SHOPPING FOR BARGAINS AND COOKING! I shop for bargains and cook my own food 90% of the time, so it should be good enough for their sorry asses to do it too. They don't do it because they are LAZY as hell and I hate each and every one of them with every fiber in my being.:sbx

I saw a couple of articles recently where CA and MI are cracking down on the use of EBT cards at casinos. This kind of shit makes me want to reconsider being a liberal sometimes.

Why CAN'T there be more restrictions on what people can buy with these cards? I understand that some people would argue that we'd be stigmatizing welfare recipients, or taking away their dignity, or something like that. I've also heard the argument that corporate welfare has a far greater monetary impact on society than people abusing their benefits, and I do agree, but that still doesn't make this shit OK. It makes sense to me that if you want more freedom to do certain things in society, you've got to be willing to assume more risk. For example, I as an employee, may have less freedom than someone who owns his or her own business, but said business owner shoulders more risk and therefore enjoys more independence. By the same token, an employee assumes more risk and exerts more effort than someone who expects the government to bankroll his or her lifestyle, and can buy whatever they want with their paycheck. It's a tradeoff, otherwise what is the incentive for these people to get off of their asses and work?

Yes I was married at one time....just in case you hate people who have babies out of wedlock and wanted to al least not be in that category! I manage a home for adults with disabilities and have spent my life caring for others. Because I don't have a high paying job and have 2 children I do qualify for a modest monthly amount of food stamp benefits. It does not cover all my food. As far as I know you can only use EBT at grocery stores in my area. Yes there are people who abuse the system. There are people who abuse every system there is. There are wealthy doctors who commit Medicaid fraud. There are politicians who accept gifts and trips. Yes abuse of these systems and social welfare systems is bad...it is also BAD to hate everyone in a category without knowing the truth about them. I can assure you that I am far from lazy, have paid taxes for over 25 years and look forward to paying even more taxes when I graduate from nursing school! Just to much hate in this world.

You know, I have a flex spending account as part of my job. I can use it to pay for health care. It goes through, picks out the charges that qualify, pays for them, and then the register spits out balance due. IOW, you can only buy qualifying items and it won't let you buy anything that does not qualify.

Why can't this be done with EBT cards?

In my state, alcohol and cigarettes aren't covered by EBT (thank God!).

However, I work part-time at a grocery store, and I've seen welfare moos buying all kinds of junk for themselves and their sprogs. Everything sugary, bad for you, and just plain overpriced. I've seen them use the EBT card to pay for their cookies and sodas and sushi, yet they still have money to buy beer and smokes. Many of these people, they've got brand-new cellphones, freshly styled hair, and the latest fashions. This is what my tax dollars are going toward. Meanwhile, I'm juggling two jobs to afford food, rent, and pay for my education. Sickening.

Very few things chap my ass more than welfare. It's so bad that I have considered finding a job that pays under the table and dumping what WOULD be my state, federal, and local taxes into a Roth IRA. FUCK Uncle Sam and his spendthrift, vote buying bullshit giving free money to able-bodied people.

Frankly I couldn't give a squirt of piss about "single mothers." If you aren't physically or mentally disabled (and that is, your spine is fused from a lifetime of work and you have arthritis, or you're missing three and a half limbs because you got blown up in Iraq, or have been diagnosed by a certified mental health professional as having schizophrenia), you don't deserve one thin dime of taxpayer money, which is to take care of people who honestly CANNOT at ALL take care of themselves through no fault of their own. Choosing to shit out kids is a lifestyle choice that YOU and no one else made. If you didn't properly plan for it, too fucking bad. Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on anyone else's! If you can't afford to take care of your shits, give them up for adoption to someone who can.

I think it is complete BULLSHIT that an EBT card is accepted at any restaurant for sure, but a CASINO? ARE U KIDDING ME?? Come on!!! That is so bad! The business that allow this should be punished just as the person receiving the benefits should be. Another thing I would like to say is that I have an EBT card. I receive some cash benefits and all of the qualified amount for food support (MN). I work and I go to school full-time. I have always worked, except for a couple semesters here and there where I had to take an insane amount of credits.

I completely agree with what you are saying, yet it is a little offensive to EVERYONE who receives help. Its a general statement and it almost implicates that "if you get them, you are worthless" regardless of the situation. I have always worked and paid taxes. I have never been lazy and there are several others who are just like me. It's purpose is a stepping stone. Not a permanent way of life. Some are ABSOLUTELY lazy and worthless people who abuse the HELL out of assistance, but I think it is a very generic statement to say what you did. The assistance is there no matter what they person is doing with it. Either using it for its purpose or abusing it....its there! Whats the difference if the person buys alcohol, drugs, gambles, or buys 1,000 lollipops? Get what Im saying? Its going to be distributed REGARDLESS of where it goes after the individual gets it. Do I agree with that? HELL NO! Because it makes people like ME look bad and its also just plain SHITTY! But unfortunately thats life I guess!

ANYONE who has ever been to college as gotten assistance! Even if you paid for EVERY DIME out of pocket! Did u know that? Did u know that regular tuition is subsidized itself? I worked my whole life. Had a job when I had both of my children and I have always maintained employment! I am now attending school full-time and still working. I receive help. I get some cash and all of the food support. I literally work every single hour available and like I said, im also a student. So I dont think its fair for you to categorize the way you are. I was NEVER EVER EVER a worthless, leech, good for nothing single mom. EVER! I have ALWAYS paid taxes. So therefore, I pay for my own help! Right? Or wrong? Although I am with you on the people who actually ARE lazy, good for nothing, worthless nobodies, but the reality is, the money there for assistance is going to be taken from US tax payers regardless of what the person does with it. GO VOTE! Go find out what political leader is "for" this. No, that doesnt make it right for a person to spend money made available for assistance foolishly, but I do have a good point. That money is going to be taken from taxes no matter WHO is getting it or WHAT they are spending it on. Have you ever been to college? If so, you have been on assistance. Tax payers assistance! I just skimmed and then reported her. The automatic blocking should kick in pretty soon, and later on the mods can post her IP address for all to see along with her trollish legacy in itty bitty font.
