I totally agree with you... my three dogs ARE my 'KIDS'. I would not even think about leaving them behind. You are also right about the pets being less trouble than the (human) kids. I can say sit to all three of my dogs and all three will immediately sit. No whining - 'aww do I have to sit?' No throwing a temper tantrum because they don't want to sit or anything like that -- they just sit and they wait!!! Yep, dogs are definitely better than kids!!

Yep,me too. I have six dogs, and they behave much better than any kids that I know. When idiots ask me if I have any kids, I tell them ,yes, I have six. I don't elaborate,just smile, and walk away.
