I'm SO sorry for your loss, Kathy. It's a far greater sorrow when a fuzzy faced "child" dies. I have a dog and 6 cats and I am dreading the day when it's time for them to cross over. Pets are a huge part of many families and when they are gone, they leave such a hole.

I was thinking about that too, if I could ever deal with the loss of another pet. We have another little girl, Stella Lou, and I'm going to love her to pieces until the time comes and after, but I just don't want to go through the pain again.

You sound like a great fur-mommy, with your six cats! I've always wanted a cat, but have to wait until next year to get one, because I just moved into a new place and started grad school.

People do not realise that for alot of people the loss of a pet can be just as difficult as the loss of a family member.

My condolences.

Annie sure was a member of our family. A lot of people I know with pets think of them as family members, fully contributing family members, at that. Thank you for your condolences.
